What similarity of touhou music did you find in other music?
for example today i found that Bach's Prelude in C minor sounds like Shinki's theme:

Notice the similarity in the beginning.

I also know Remilia's theme is partly taken from Beethoven's Pathetique sonata and the climax of Kana's theme sounds like a touhou-ified version of Polyushko-polye. Some touhou music sounds like other touhou music (e.g. Nue theme sounds like Flandre's, Utsuho's theme sounds like Yumemi's, Mima's theme like Elis, etc.) but i'm more interested in outside similarities.

What other interesting similarities did you find in touhou music /jp/?
please don't tell me to take my meds because i don't have any

one that's probably fairly well-known is that the background riff of Strawberry Crisis!! (second pair of measures in picrel) is very close the background riff of Megami Tensei II's Explorer theme (first pair)

I've never played castlevania and have only noticed these similarities after watching /cvania/'s team play in the latest /vr/ divegrass cup (to which I've had /98hu/ participate), so there might be even more castlevania songs ZUN has taken inspiration from.
