I tried playing Nocturne, I really did. But it kept on raping my anus repeatedly and the whole walk 2 cm RANDOM BATTLE TIME and each battle is like a boss battle and once you win you walk 2 more cm and BATTLE TIME.

Never has a game caused me to rage quit so much. And the Save points are so far apart its just makes me think why should I even bother.

Tell me I just suck at playing this game, I've never really played any of the SMT games before not even Persona 3 or 4 but Nocturne just raped me violently.

it's not that hard, most bosses can't clear buffs/de buffs so if you spam skills like Fog Breath or War cry or Rakukaja/whatever, it gets very easy. obviously you don't start out with these spells by you should have them by the time you fight Dante for the first time. if you don't, it means you're not recruting/fusing enough demons.

nocturne gets easier the more you play really, as you progress you get access to stronger demons, with better resistances, and if you fuse them correctly with good spells you'll be undefeatable
