/jp/, I'm tired of all your visual novels.
My friends are also tired of all your visual novels.

We have decided to make our own visual novel now.

I won't go into details, but here are the basics:

It takes place during Canadian High School life.
You play as a guy.
There are 2 girls with routes (it's our first time, figured we'd start off small)
There's no bad end (there's an 'everyone stayed friends' route, but that's it)

So yeah.

The pig is the reincarnated form, of a glorious hero who chose greed and abandoned those he loved.

He is reborn, and he sees the heroines. Slowly over time he communicates and romances them, and potentially rapes them. Every day he thinks of those he lost in his past life he suffers, and eventually he comes to amends making the heroines his precious ones, and coping with his past.

He sees the one whom he had romanced the most in a death situation, and is given the choice to make amends for all of the terrible things of his distant past, he was a glorious champion of men in his old form, but he fights on pathetically in his pig body, feeling pitiful and hate for himself. He could also stay alive and be with the other one sacrificing a loved one out of greed again.

One of these choices will lead to him being reborn, and thinking about his entire past in a happy way overlooking a sunset before he is off to battle again in a distant future, the other will be him reincarnated as the pig again to repeat the cycle.

There will be many vague, and unusual choices leading to these ends. So you never know.
And this is the slice of life visual novel of the glorious pig hero.

Another major point is that the entire novel will be dreamy and pitiful, as again he is a pathetic pig, and realizes how precious love can be when he feels nothing but hate due to the fact he is a pig, unlike his past, where he never even realized these things.

He will try to overcome his many limitations, like he could in the past but come to a pitiful halt due to the fact he is a pig, many times. He will watch helplessly as some things go on, ala his loved ones getting abused or raped, which will potentially make them more attached to him due to the issue being emotional.

Falling short of the goal due to his own greed in the past causing him to be in that sad state, making him wallow in self-pity and hate, when to break free of the cycle he must find self content, and come to terms.

Just make a Journey to the West VN with Xuánzàng as the protagonist. Genderswap everyone else, say they got the bodies of women as their punishment. Tomboy/trickster loli Sun Wukong with that constricting headband as her silly hat, perverted, large-breasted onee-san type Zhu Bajie, clumsy, shy Sha Wujing with glasses. It all reflects their original personalities, Wukong is hell-bent on messing around and causing chaos, Zhu Baije is a glutton and pervert, Sha Wujing is a nice guy but got thrown out of heaven by breaking a fucking vase, hence the clumsiness.

Anyways, You should have a good enough idea of what kind of hero glorious pig was in his past, and what kind of stuff he is going through now.

The entire point of the novel, is to see him change, and break free from the cycle.

Potentially becoming stronger and better in the future, due to his experiences now, no matter how pitiful and minuscule they sound, the heroines are plot devices to help him break free.
