I have some plywood left over from interior renovations, beach towels, and a space heater that must be from the 1970s. Should I make one?

But honestly, staple the towels to the underside of the wood, zip-tie up the heater facing downward, maybe crack up some of the old asbestos tiles lying around and slide those between the heater and the plywood

I don't see how anything could be that bad

I can only think of a few legitimate issues:

1) I do a crappy job assembling it and it quickly falls apart, dropping a ten pound hot metal box on my ass or legs
2) It manages to scorch my rug or warp the wood flooring
3) It actually causes a fire, which would most likely raze the top floor and roof but leave the rest of the house (where everyone else lives) intact

Can you recommend bothering to polyurethane plywood by the way
