The SDVX data runs like trash on every version. My button presses are late but if I adjust timing, it causes my lasers to be off. People said the konasute fixed the problem I just can’t afford it.

There's nothing to "fix", the vast majority of people have zero problems running data. Timing is slightly different between data and konasute, but it's barely noticeable. I use no offset on konasute while I use draw+1 on data. I have to use draw+6 on valkyrie cabs.

1. Whatever you do, bring a pair of 3.5mm headphones.
2. Songs level 7 and below are considered safe and doesn't end your credit if you fail it.
3. Consider buying an e-amusement card if you don't have one already if you plan to play more than once.
4. To adjust scroll speed, press and hold Start and turn right knob to modify. Press twice to finetune it. You can lock it with Start+ keypad 6.
5. Press FX-L + FX-R to skip matching.
6. Don't skip the tutorial.
7. In song select, right knob changes moves the song/menu selection, left knob changes difficulty. FX-L opens the song category list while FX-R opens the sorting order menu. FX-L+FX-R opens advanced options.
8. Keypad 0 in song select allows you to mark a song as a favorite and easily access it later in a special song category (FX-L).

Partially true. The crypto bros are networking through Dr. D (who himself is a crypto bro) for DDR and other Bemani pirates but not necessarily sows/ooc folk.

The n-0 rule is also a blanket rule because Konami gives zero fucks about n-1 games being pirated. But depending on the n-0 they care.

For example, BPL content isn't preloaded far in advance anymore because of the Jubeat incident. Though BPL players are still suspected of getting leaks. Also Konami hates when people mess with their Konaste stuff.

It's just a safer bet to n-1 to avoid unnecessary accidents. But really we could probably get away with current update - 2 or something.

I can't think of the last time I bothered downloading and installing a IIDX style. The official ways to play at home are reasonable enough. I only ever touch data these days if I'm over at a friend's place and playing on their cabs, and even then I'm playing stuff like chunithm instead of IIDX.
Otherwise it's konasute or just going out of my way and driving to Round1.

It's time padding, I don't mind currency unlocking with a decent amount of non-pack songs since it at least isn't pay-per-credit ticket microtransaction cancer mode like SDVX GW or DDR GP, or milking song packs by limiting non-pack buyers to a really shitty "selection" like EG, Lively, Nostalgia or Gitadora. You also don't have to pay extra for old monthly songs because you can unlock them with BITs rather than a microtransaction.
