for the memes. seriously Alice is at the same level as Luigi as far as memes are concerned. I actually think the best known character is Cirno, but I feel like people associate her with /b/ as with Pepe the Frog. instead Alice is someone who represents otakus and touhou in general very well. in addition to "team shanghai alice".

a girl at work asked me who the anime character was on my phone wallpaper and I explained that Youmu is a character from the Touhou series.
