I kinda like the new VS battle system. Once you get to lvl 100, you can activate a ton of extra effects that make the stage more difficult but allows you to instantly skip to the end of it all. SInce you don't have to grind endless battles if you want 1 full power copy of the card, there is nothing stopping you from just bringing 6 max power characters. The game can also carry over your replays from lower difficulty stages to the higher ones so you don't have to manually fight 41 battles as long as you have a super strong set-up.

I don't really need more than 1 copy of the Reimu card. Aside from Blue Reimu's LW, I don't think there is another spell that actually benefits a ton from it. Maybe Retro Byakuren's LW but that is only because she is attack type and has sun element. Bullet type is laser.

Gonna be interesting to see how the VS Marisa stage will be done with the new system. Back in the day the stage was super difficult to farm because the status effect meta wasn't all that strong yet, Blue Reimu was new so only whales even had her at full power and getting 2 locks at once was impossible to deal with since Toyohime was the best lock removal friend. I still have screenshots of the stupid comp I used to grind the stage. There was also stuff using Raiko or Parsee. Really efficient. Now you have all those MV characters and busted characters like White Koishi running around and having Blue Reimu maxed out is nothing special.

Resort stars are kinda hard to replace because it's BiS for Otohime
3* Otohime does mean that your solo spellcard autobreaks 3 Poison iirc so the setup would be a bit different.
Either way, worthwhile liquid boosting cards are:

Shields being capped at 2 max for (you) is a pretty fun one. Can't even increase it with skills or effects. There are also effects that seem to change the types of your characters around but it is only visible on the result screen. Attack type Sagume and Destruction Mokou. You also have the usual "increase enemy defense against X element or Y bullet type". Had to bench Science Yuuka because her LW was dealing no damage anymore so I only brought characters with the correct bullet type (and Sagume who gives 1.0 P on turn 1)

There are 3 voices for each character so the chance that at least one of them will fit is pretty high. Junko voice 2 is perfect. She sounds like a disney villain. I wish Junko was actually good so that I could listen to it in battle. I also like the 3rd voice that Red Marisa has. I think giving her a slightly more mature voice fits quite well when other Marisas use a more cheeky sounding voice.

Kanako is basically White Koishi but with electro and slightly less damage. White Koishi happens to be the best character in the game. Japs have Kanako ranked only below Koishi and Beach Yukari. Kanako does not yet have a full power card though so she can still get a boost in the future. Though I guess that also counts for Youmu.

The only thing Kanako has over Youmu are her breaks (which are very disjointed, so its less impressive than usual). Youmu just does everything considerably better, except perhaps that Kanako just happens to fit all the requirements to farm the new card stage (for japs, since its harder in glb), while metal is resisted.

Game is designed around running the same stage hundreds of times.
So you don't really think and just put stuff on full auto to delete event stage and copy what you find online to set up a farm specific cards which allow you to use more and better setups to farm other cards.
The characters are reduced to a gimmick for their personality sometimes which really stings for fans of said characters.
I'll admit that using fan music and having 3 voices per character is very nice and I don't think many games can boast that they have that.

We did get cheaper than 24sp on release day though.
L1 Lily, L1 Kaguya and L1 Yuyuko can all nuke easily with rebirth, and L1 Yuyuko can also nuke with one of her spellcards with her rebirth.
L1 Yatsuhashi can nuke at least one of them at 1*, and most likely both at 5*.
A6 Patchouli can break 4-5 barriers in a single turn without much effort, and her damage takes care of both pretty easily.

In all honest, all F1 Koishi herself does it make comps faster, rarely any cheaper. In fact, limit breaking is completely optional for this stage as well.
