Model hash is different because newer versions hash the entire model now (which it should've done in the first place). Also your hires fixed is fucked because you can see on the right it's going from 1352x1024 -> 1352x1024. Basically it's not doing anything. You either need to manually set those greyed out resize width/height to sliders, or enable a compatibility option in settings to use the old 0x0 hires fix pass. Hm, I tried generating https://files.catbox.moe/dznugm.png from >>42526839 and got picrel. I didn't even change the compatibility settings and just dropped the png into the PNG Info and and sent to txt2img. It's obviously going to look a bit different since different hardware and config do that and latent upscaling is inherently more affected by that iirc as well, but it shouldn't look as messed up as your attempt does.

Here, using Lanczos (I think it was either this or latent previosuly). Looks much closer to your's now.
Also your sample step count is insanely high. You should only ever be using like, 30-40 at most, and only surpass that if you use ancestral samples (like Euler a), because only those never converge. Anything else and you get minimal return value.

I mean, the point of the new hires. fix is you now only have to specify an upscaling factor. The manual width/height and the compatbility setting are only there now because people complained about it not being able to reproduce the old gens exactly. The only change in implementation is it prevents cropping the final output now unless you use the compat setting, otherwise it's exactly the same. If you want to see what I mean by cropping then try enabling live preview, ideally with approx cheap, and then manually specifying the width/height like in my example.

You gotta look into using kohya's sd-scripts repo for training these. It requires no cropping and you can train embeddings/hypernetworks/LoRA/Dreambooth/finetunes all with the same repo and sometimes even better results, and now almost all other repos are starting to stem off from his work.

Depends what you are training. Deambooth takes less, I've made models with 14 to 31 images used. Lora take quite a bit more than that. As far as embedding and hypernetworks go I has little experience.
