I feel that the CDS is unjustifiably hated. Most of the fans hate it for things like Mima doesn't appear or that it was confirmed that Kaguya and Mokou are not deadly enemies but rather friendly rivals who sometimes go out for a walk together.
even the argument that it's a bad manga just because it doesn't make use of the typical detective cliché situations, though CDS is a manga that manages to generate great suspense at the end of each chapter.
Many people non-ironically believe a detective Conan like manga can be a good story. Many was expected and they really believe that this would be more fun than what the CDS manga offers.
