Mystia Izakaya 2.5 DLC Translated. For anyone who plays it, this translation is finally out. For those unaware or unsure, 2.5 adds a rhythm minigame and a secret goddess.

Once you expand the Izakaya it gets more fun. But there's no real challenge until you get to the DLC boss or rematch other bosses on harder difficulty.

Been playing Scarlet Curiosity and it's very cute, if not a bit repetitive. I was wondering if the Sakuya route is at all different from Remilia's and if it's worth playing after I'm done, or if it's just the same path with slightly different dialogue?

Nothing new lately, besides its crowdfunding closing a week ago with 1288% of its goal reached (193M yen / 1.4M usd), which means it's gonna get a physical release on the switch in addition to the downloadable PC and switch versions. Seven people, out of a maximum of eight, paid 1.5M yen (11.5k usd) for the privilege of choosing an arrangement they want featured in the game.

Unknown X have also posted a wip preview of the artbook coming for people who got the art tier or super satisfaction tier.

It's meant to be a relaxing game. It's less about the challenge and more about going through each character's routes and unlocking new recipes to try and experiment with. Some of the boss fights near the end of the game can be a bit challenging, and the rhythm minigame DLC can be tricky (but still easy by rhythm game standards).

Max out friendships and make new recipes. Take it easy.

The bar wasn't particularly high nor low, just high enough to fund the game with the first 100%, but the mobage had been extremely well received and it only died because of its gacha being both uninfluential on gameplay and very generous.
Consider it reached 100% in just 30 minutes after the crowdfunding went live.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone say that about the game. Even at its very best it was just a mediocre otoge when more often than not it was just outright bad. That's why they're revamping how the game plays from the ground up. The real reason why people loved it was the second half of your post as generous gachas are few and also because it's Touhou, and focused around songs no less.

This game is very, very addictive. I've never played Slay the Spire, which this game is a shameless ripoff of, so it doesn't hinder my enjoyment personally, but it IS very similar, except that it uses a Magic mana system instead of regular stamina like that game.
Even so, it's still very well done for what it is, even in early access, and the mana system adds a good deal to the strategy.

I only got it recently, so I have no idea how fast development progress is right now or just how much they intend to add, but the game is already in a state where you can do full runs.
Currently 3 out of the 5 planned characters are in the game (Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, with Cirno and Koishi coming later), and it's pretty well fleshed out already.
Seems they focused on the game mechanics first, cause the only things obviously missing are things like dialogue for boss fights (you get a "yet to be implemented" message), some character themes for bosses, and animation cycles for most enemy sprites. Aesthetic stuff in other words. I don't imagine they'll be adding anything after the current final boss, cause runs already take long enough as is, but maybe they could continue adding more possible enemies/events on the way there, once they finish touching up the current ones.
