Literally everything about Alice is better. Most of her alt cards were either buffed or left alone because they were always pretty awesome. The only nerfs I've seen to her alt skillcards so far are Thousand Spear dolls and Seeker Wire. Thousand Spear dolls no longer combos into 6C when an enemy is point blank and Seeker Wire's spirit damage was halved, which makes sense when you think about how much orb damage the C dolls do now

I just wish Ambush Dolls 236BC would make the dolls invulnerable to bullets once they finish their hiding animation, but oh well. It's still better than it was last patch

Those, combined with the wiki entries, are the only changes I've noticed. Are there any other adjustments that were made to her that haven't gotten on the wiki yet?

Well, you have a lot to learn. You should block right, accordingly to the opponents attacks - high/low. Approaching opponents by flying high in the sky is too predictable; whatever success you may have is luck, considering that we're not playing the same game, in the regard of skill level. Instead of just knocking down your opponent, keep him in the air as much as you can, taking damage in various ways. Learn some combos as well, and don't throw random SCs out of shere desperation - time them.

And yeah, I noticed that you didn't know what to do when I activated Missing Purple Power: you should at least block and forget about attacking when I have too much life left. And if you want to escape, try flying over her head between two punches. But don't wait thinking the punches won't hit you, their hitbox his really huge, and they hit hard.

Colorful Rain still looks too random to be useful, and the 236 buff still doesn't make the skill any more useful than a surprise once in a while. I'm messing around with both, but I'm still disappointed thus far. I need to get some more matches in with people to see if I can make any real use of them, but it's still looking like the main deck decisions are whether you use default 623 or the one-inch punch and whether you run default 214 or the Descending Flower Slam.

Colorful Rain always struck me as mostly being useful for creating a big field of OH FUCK to set up over an enemy when you knock them down. The only other skill that I felt fulfilled a similar role was charged 22BC Earth Dragon Wave

Default 236BC is the best thing ever
Learn how to make use of her midair 6A to beat back people who try to super jump and graze through all your bullets
Don't ignore 421BC Dew Spear, because it's very handy for setting up bullets for your enemy to respond to
A lot of people seem to have trouble dealing with 5C; take advantage of that
Try to maintain a horizontal position to the opponent at all times, because that is where Patchy can bring most of her strongest attacks to bear. 6C, midair 6A, and ground 236BC Fireball are all attacks that can easily win priority in a bullet or melee battle, and those are the attacks you want to trade with the enemy when you have to trade attacks

Can't think of anything else at the moment, but those are about as basic as Patchy gets, I imagine

Yeah, that move saved my ass a lot of times. It does 3 orbs of spirit damage, so basically you just have to keep your orbs high and not spam too much when you see that card.

Anyway, how is Komachi different, for the people that already experimented with her for a while? I feel tempted to call her nerfed (default 623 worse, only one 5C/j.5C bullet allowed at a time, it appears as if 3A lost vertical range but I'm not certain), but I can tell that 2C was upgraded, j.8A seems better (not like it's used much), 5C/j.5C might be a bit faster, and her life draining 214 alt. skill appears to be dramatically improved. Still haven't tested most of the alt. skills yet, but it seems like some new decks and strategies based around her 2C will be required.

What happened to vacuum 22 alt? What's going on with the C version of that move? It also looks like its damage went up, but I could be wrong since I never really used that move much. alt. 236 pink blades, it looks flashier but can't tell of the hit area is better.

There's definitely some added delay for the startup of 2B. Makes some formerly 100% limit combos fail. Feels bad man. At least my other main was buffed a ton, so I can't complain too much.

Good games man, your Yuyuko mix-ups and cross-ups are quite good. I was really getting frustrated with the amount of danmaku spam + incoming melee. Just need to tighten up your defense and don't rely quite as much on dial-A combos.

Also had to LOL at that double KO in one of the Yuyuko vs Reimu matches.

Aww. I'm sorry you feel that way. I was (am) an IaMP player, and initially avoided SWR because it was constantly getting patched (much of the criticism levied against SWR came from its early versions, not v1.06), but finally gave it a chance when 12.3 came out. While I would consider IaMP 'better' as a serious tournament fighting game, I do think 12.3 is a lot of fun and not nearly as bad as guys like bellreisa make it out to be. I hope you'll consider trying IaMP some day, although I believe it's somewhat harder to go from SWRS -> IaMP instead of the other way around.

No, it ain't "somewhat" harder, it IS harder. If you're already accustomed to flying, continuous graze, and your character's movelist and hitboxes, reverting back to IaMP is tougher than it may seem. Novelties like the card system and customization are just misnomers. Even though moves seem to come out faster, actually maneuverability feels sluggish compared to SWR/UNL.
