I just finished playing through SubaHibi. Boy, what a ride. 10/10
So first I have schizophrenia, diagnosed at 14.
And man, playing through Takuji's route was very very very uncomfortable. It was extremely similar to my experience (at least the build up, I didn't end up causing a cult group suicide). They did a fantastic job portraying psychosis.

I really liked the true ending, especially Ayana, they tied it up beautifully.
SCA-DI also did a great job bringing so many philosophical texts into it. They are probably too difficult for me to read so I appreciate being able to learn about them through a vn.
This is only my 10th or so VN but unquestionably the best.
Anyone want to talk about it?

I happen to have a relative with schizophrenia, and it was certainly interesting to see their behavior reflected in Takuji. (rapid changes in mood and personality, paranoia, and an astonishing ability to discard all evidence that conflicts with their delusions...)
I also really liked the philosophy and Ayana.
All in all my favorite VN so far probably.

I still cry everytime I read Kimika's rooftop scene. Eventhough they were high on drug they look so happy. Seeing Takuji geniunly laugh is really something.

My favorite scene. Also the way Kimika understood and helped Takuji set up the cult activities even without being told was cool. Sad that she didn't get an ending where she lived really
