Do you even know what a crack pairing is? It's stuff like Myon/Unzan. Aya/Reimu isn't that unusual at all, given that Aya is on Team Reimu in SA.

Based on what, exactly? To put things into perspective, in canon there isn't exactly any more substantiation for, say, MAlice or RemiliaxSakuya than there is for AyaxReimu. Because in canon there are no romantic pairings.

If you go by fan interpretation... well, this is a fan interpretation of its own.

And if you go by what makes sense or doesn't... well, then that's a personal opinion, because it doesn't make sense to YOU. And that's ok. There's no "official" fanon. I personally see no sense in some well established pairings.

That said, this thing was pretty... mediocre. Can anyone recommend a good Aya doujin?

I think more then anything people just don't get where it comes from. Aya/Reimu as a pairing might work, it has as much basis as any other pairing, but with Aya Kiss it takes both characters completely out of their given roles for a pretty bad soppy shoujo-ai doujin.

That said, anyone who posts Aya Kiss is likely trolling. It's just that kind of work.
