I could't find any high quality manga raws so I decided to buy it digitally and found bookwalker.jp but that website's monetization is absolute cancer, are there any other websites where I can buy manga and read it online? I live in a shithole so its impossible for me to get it physically

Bookwalker also has insane DRM that's not easily removable, so once you give them the money you don't actually own the manga, you effectively just borrow it temporarily with the limited license of being able to read it on their website.
It's absolutely unacceptable to me.
The best options (both for manga and ebooks) to buy raw and be able to actually own the thing and what you want with it (aka remove DRM) is to either set up an amazon JP account (bit of a pain to do the first time, then it's a breeze and probably overall best option) or the rakuten store.

i know there are alternatives but i assumed it would be worth asking the thread full of people using all three guides for extended periods of time what their opinions/experiences are before i go chasing what might be a waste of time.
just as an example, the section of the anki guide i screenshotted is drastically out of date and the alternative template they offer that seems better in their screenshots is actually drastically worse than the current default; it removes both the audio and which dictionary the definitions come from. just little things like this that make it feel severely outdated and are concerning. (if anyone knows how to make yomichan give single definitions their own bullet point without gutting other features of the template i'd appreciate it)

Ok, so far in my immersion it seems like 床 is ゆか when referring to just the floor but it's とこ in every other situation? like "いい寝床だね’ is 'どこ’ but if they just say "I lfet it on the floor" it's "床” I realize the answer is probably "just input more", but I still don't know for furiganaless non-audio content...Is "とこ” ever used for "床" by itself?

"Learning kanji" is the wrong concept. Just learn the actual words containing the kanji. Use Anki and either a premade vocab deck or make your own cards based on the words you come across that you can't learn on your own. Regardless of what djt says, you should actually learn kanji. They're the building blocks of the language and it will make your vocab learning process much more efficient and rewarding than just going "oh, I think I've seen that mess of strokes before."
That doesn't mean to put off vocab in exchange for learning kanji first though. Do your vocab, and just try to fit kanji in wherever you can. And the more they cross over the better.
"Essiential Kanji" and "Remembering the Kanji" are alright.

I can't stand this. Why the root of the word cannot stay the same like in every fucking normal language? 消 once is ke second time is ki. I get these card on after another, literally same kanji, but no, you must have telepathic powers to know which vowel is it going to use. I had the same poblem, anki styling does not overwrite the yomichan one, even if adding !important. Follow directions from this thread https://github.com/FooSoft/yomichan/issues/2179 . For me it solved issue completely on ankidroid, and on desktop version it still like 10-20 pixels away from being properly centered for some reason, but it's fine for me.
