This is correct. You should have learned this when you first started the game. /tg/ has some horrible Magic players (People who think they're Johnnies who just make pointless Timmy effects), but at least they know the mechanics. Well, usually. The whole Planeswalker =/= Player but Player = Planeswalker thing usually gets a few people.

Bought some Magic boosters recently since I thought this set looked awesome.
I got this card, and thought that it matched Umineko, what with magic flying unbreakable shit and sacrificing at every turn.
Also, orange rarity, lolwut.

OP here. That's called a "mythic rare." It's a new rarity that only appears in boosters rarely. I don't know the exact frequency, or what it replaces, but that's how it is. A lot of other TCGs already had similar rarities when Wizards introduced it.

Platinum Angel is no big deal on it's own. It dies so easily, and if it gets bounced when you're in the negatives, enjoy dying.

I hate T1 artifact and affinity decks, though. Especially with bullshit like Tolarian Academy and the multiple infinite engines.
