Not that anon but thinking the pacing of major content releases for a lowly gacha being in that sort of time frame is excusable in any capacity is deluded. Traum was essentially filler that inched forward the story ever so slightly because its most relevant portions focused on what they planned for LB7 but shuffled around on a fucking whim for goodness sake. I could fully believe Traum and Tunguska weren't even originally planned and only exist to pad out the gacha since they're dragging their feet on an arc that could have and should have seen its resolution years ago. My deep condolences if you held any expectations for Koyan or Holmes. The lack of a dialed in vision regarding this game and its complete lack of narrative integrity is laughable but at least you can count on them defecating in your mouth while picking your pocket as often as possible. 5.5 chapter just got translated with had a neater translation with the babble about it. Basically U Olga has a third planetary class output, and Sion rambled about how she effortlessly conjures a Black Hole of that size which she compares to Earth (if compressed into a Black Hole). And says later to face her you need to surpass the output of an Average planet. Joins the dots. Including how the Incineration had more output than Earth established by part 1 and that's second class.

Earth is average planet which is third class.

Here's the thing, VNs are hilariously cheap to make. *Specially* the ones that don't have or need full voice acting (like FGO). They could have orders of magnitude better presentation than they do now for the amount of money that they make in 1 month from NA FGO alone.

FGO is either run by the greediest parasites on earth or the game's spaghetti code is so fucked that there is no easy way for them to upgrade the presentation of the game without breaking a bunch of shit.

>> No.41836890

>>41836821
Planetary-classifications means you need planetary class output to harm them, yes. I'm not sure where you're going with this though, even if Earth as a planet had an average output it's impossible for Earth to fight on it's own. So comparing it to another characters that are able to fight makes no sense.

>Including how the Incineration had more output than Earth
Never stated to be the case. It was only stated Goetia burning Earth would yield less energy than incineration humanity but incinerating earth and having all it's energy are different things.
Goetia couldn't be more powerful than the Earth since his entire goal was becoming the Earth to change the concept of death. It makes no narrative sense.

>even if Earth as a planet had an average output it's impossible for Earth to fight on it's own.
I'm not talking about that. I'm just saying we have a rough confirmation of the scale of power for each output. Average star = Earth = third class (and who knows if there isn't some lower on the scale). There are always conceptual protections and other things like passive traits that would make Earth safe (for now). We're talking about raw output not other special traits.

>Never stated to be the case.
Read part 1 again. Goetia said that he accumulated more energy than Earth would EVER produce. Means the planet output is vastly inferior to this. That was probably what Nasu used to later establish the scale and slapped second class on him, and third class on Earth 2.0. And makes sense when his aim was to become a greater finished product.

ORT is going to be a special case because the cloud is multiple celestial bodies cumulus.

Goetia wanted to be a planet superior to Earth, not become Earth, but be better and replace it. We scantly know the details beyond what he shared of having no concept of death. But he said he finished the blueprints and had everything he needed.

I was following this discussion and grabbed some screenshots. I don't how to screenshot the Sion's black hole talk. She doesn't say Earth is third class or / average star (and from my understanding the anon was speculating as a rough measurement), but she did say that would be like the result of "compressing Earth mass to the size of a fingertip" (reminds me to Arc and Ciel talk in TsukiRe when she's using the Cathedral idea blood) and talks how black holes are "the inevitable result of what happens...when a large star reaches the end of its cycle and collapses under its own weight." The funny thing is that the stuff Arc does as a result of her Principle is orders of magnitude beyond what Olga has ever done. In the scene where the Luminary is forming the narration states all energy is compressed to -10^35 meters, which actually IS the center of a black hole or a planck star, except the volume of energy compressed in this scene by Arc is massive. Second screenshot.

My speculation here is that the death of humanity (human order) and its history generates more energy than the death of Earth. And effectively Goetia said that in part 1. So Goetia had second-class output while Olga the third. So she will compensate with something else. Part 2 motto is "This a story of our battle against the future" while Part 1 is "This is a story about our battle to take back the future."

Does this mean Earth generates more or less energy? I don't know. I'm saying from the logic of FGO, the death of Earth may generate less energy than the death of humanity (as a continuous history). And Olga's black hole power is based on the finality of Earth like Goetia's beams of the finality of History.

No, it really does make perfect sense. Arcueid's Principle is stated to be 極点の原理 or the Principle of Extremum, and the stuff happening in that very scene is stated to be a result of her Principle. Even earlier in the route Arcueid was warping space and gravity as a result of the energy density inside her.

No not at all. Inflation is a cosmological theory about the early stages of the universe which essentially states that space expanded at an exponential rate for a brief period of time before slowing down. This, if true, resolves several outstanding cosmological questions. The mechanism behind what actually caused inflation is completely unknown. Bear in mind planck star, a mass of energy compressed to -10^35 meters IS in theory believed to be the center of a black hole, the small singularity at it's utmost deepest core. The stuff that Olga does is fodder compared to the stuff Arc is doing in that scene since if Olga is actually manipulating something to planck length to create those black holes it's going to be infinitely lesser than 200 meters.
The stuff that Arc is doing there is basically creating the exposed singularity of an hyper massive black hole.

Yes but the singularity at the center of it is, the point that's actually compressed to -10^35 meters is going to be as small as an atom or even smaller. - Since is Universe of Man's Will/Common sense, the planet's will is weaker so no Other Planet Attack aside of ORT who always will stumble even without Gaia's signal (meteors connection now he's OORT cloud).
- Instead of this, Olga manifests as Chaldeas Beast. The "distress" of her peer isn't about Specimen E, that's Olga (human) body and a redherring to mistake the players, but is talking about the dying Earth.
- Lostbelts and Kirschtaria's plan were to use possibilities to reach a different future.
- Line is "a story of our fight against the future" seems that earth's end is set in stone, also the first OP song. Holmes says Olga's correct, the Specimen E/Master of Traum thinking Human History is the enemy is also portrayed as correct on conclusion
- You can start over in a new earth/world in Fate, unlike Tsukihime, since humans can leave: in Extra/Extella, there's Mooncell. FGO might have Chaldeas, but requires snapping Olga back to her senses.

Point to a single strawmen then. Just a single one.

>But not because you've actually read Mahoyo. Yet here you are, "screeching".
Anon, the most consistent and rabid Rin-haters on this general are for the most part Aokofags. That's basically undeniable. They get extremely butthurt about Fate's being discussed in general too, whenever people enter in lengthier conversation of it. Are you that braindead that you cannot grasp the concept of "striking back", retard? Aokofags attack and belittle Rin so I attack them back. (Notice how I say AokoFAGS and not Aoko.) I don't have a problem with Aokofags; Aokofags have a problem with Rin and myself. They do so because they are resentful about the fact that Rin borrowed some elements of Aoko's personality and characterization yet is more popular by virtue of existing in Fate/stay night. It's fucking pathetic.

>The way you're so arrogant when you're talking about basing your opinions on something wholly off second hand information, wholly off the opinions of others, is fucking hilarious.
I'm not basing my opinions on second hand information, though? I don't have a definitive opinion on Mahoyo or Aoko. My expectations are pretty high because Nasu's writing has been consistently quite good and he is excellent at writing compelling character studies. I was merely stating that I have absolutely nothing against Aoko, like Aokofags here clearly do against Rin.

>Also I just want to take a moment and laugh at you over how far you've backtracked on this. First it was Aoko is nothing but "muh powerlevels", then it was "who cares if she has an arc?" and now we've finally reached "I'm sure she's a great character because my discord buttbuddies say so".
None of this is my backtracking in any way whatsoever, however...? Seems like merely skimming posts before trying to reply them is a horrible fucking idea, though I'm not sure you would've comprehended my arguments properly either way. I merely pointed out that every single argument presented in favour of Aoko's being a great character is insufficient at proving its thesis. I made a remark mocking that particular post because it was so ridiculous that I had good laugh reading it. Your own argument was laughably weak as well; its foundational premise, that characters who undergo character arcs are superior to those that don't, was just laughable; it may be true as a simple rule of thumb, but it certainly is not innately so, and many characters are excellent despite not undergoing any extensive arc or changing in major ways. Furthermore, Rin DOES undergo an arc; in UBW. If you were to contrast Rin's arcs in UBW and HF through the simplistic heuristic of analyzing how the characters has changed by the end of the story, then it's pretty much the same arc. Rin starts out the story repressing her innate human instinct and proclivity toward kindness, momentarily choosing to save Shirou's life before returning to trying to maintain her magus persona; by the end, she has chosen to moderate her approach to magecraft by accepting her feelings for a loved (Shirou and Sakura respectively).

Yet when one analyzes the actual mechanism by which this arc unfolds, when one actually sits down to thoroughly analyze the actual details and nuances of each arc, the differences couldn't be more obvious. Because ultimately, the two arcs were meant to contrast and compliment each other. The reason Rin spends most of HF steeling herself in order to prepare herself for the time she has to kill Sakura by acting cruel and insensitive toward her is because *she isn't in a romantic relationship with Shirou*. That's the takeaway from the highjump scene -- Rin is too much of a pragmatist to try and do the impossible. There is that side of her that she tries to keep buried of course; that side which admires Shirou and draws her to him. But ultimately it is he who draws it out of her. Which is why in UBW, Rin gradually opens herself up to Shirou and chooses to be a dreamer much like him in contrast to the ruthless magus she's trying to be at the start of the story when she attacks Shirou at the school, while in HF she only pull back when she's right at the brink of killing Sakura. HF only accentuates the great arc that Rin goes through in UBW. It reinforces the importance of the romance and UBW in general to her character.

>> No.41838398

>>41837802
>>41838392
Hell speaking of Rin's attacking Shirou at the school, that is an incredible peace of writing as well! Because Rin's choosing to *not* attack Shinji after he reveals himself as a Master shows that that was not a pragmatic decision on her part, but an emotional one. Shinji is just as little, if not less, of a threat, yet Rin leaves him alone while going after Shirou; that's fundamentally because she feared that her feelings for him would endanger her objectivity, that her feelings for him would expose the kind human side she is repressing and lead to the magus persona cracking. And that's precisely what happens.

Again, your understanding of this character is absolutely pathetic. And instead of admitting your fault and saying that you were clearly wrong, and that Rin is quite clearly a nuanced, deep well-written character with a ton of layers and complexity who was executed with a ton of care, you choose to whine and bitch instead, doubling down on your bullshit and refusing to address any actual argument I put out. It's always the same with you retards.

>I take issue with you because you're blatantly a fucking tourist (probably a r/a/pefugee) who is not from this board, and only comes to this board to shit up this single thread.

>That, and you've made it abundantly clear that you're crying and getting into arguments about a visual novel that you haven't even read.
Lol no you dumb faggot. This argument is primarily about RIN. I passed no actual judgements about the quality of Mahoyo and Aoko. I just ridiculed the inability of their respective -fags to provide a single argument in their favour, only being able to attack Nasu's other works and characters. You "people" can only lift up what you like by attacking what others like. It's why YOUR entire retarded shitty argument revolved around how Rin supposedly has no depth, which I disproved both in my post and by citing previous ones I've written. And knowing you lack the intelligence to respond to any single argument, you appeal to "muh your posts le heckin suck hyuck hyuck" as an alibi for not having the balls to get into the weeds of it. >You dodge any actual discussion of FSN and Rin because you know you will get humiliated
Because I don't really care. As I've said, multiple times now. I have no vendetta against Rin, like you clearly do against Aoko, no matter how much you feign protest. This is why I have avoided talking about her multiple times now, whereas you can't keep Aoko or "aokofags" out of your fucking mouth. You asked earlier about strawman arguments, here it is. Not gonna bother going back to your earlier posts to point it out when you're doing it so flagrantly here. I have never said Rin is a bad character, like your delusions seem to dictate. Just that she doesn't have the same level of focus and precedence that Aoko does. Also bear in mind, this was in direct response to you claiming that the only reason anyone liked Aoko was "muh powerlevels", you disingenuous /v/ shitposter.
>to provide a single argument in their favour
How would you even know what is and isn't an argument "in their favor" when you blatantly haven't read the VN they're talking about, troglodyte?
> And knowing you lack the intelligence to respond to any single argument
I don't need to. I'm repeating myself at this point, but I have zero desire to debate storytelling/writing with such a blatant pseud. Especially when you've made it crystal clear that you haven't read Mahoyo. I'm not as enamored with Rin as you are, but I have never once suggested that she is a bad character. Just that she is "less than" Aoko in terms of development and story precedence. How can you get so belligerent about me, who has read both Mahoyo and F/SN, saying this, when you have not read Mahoyo at all? Anywho, as I've said several times now, I have zero interest in "debating" this with you.

My sole purpose here is to illustrate to everyone else that you A). are a flagrant crossboarder and B). have not read Mahoyo despite constantly getting into arguments about it and Aoko, and screeching nonstop about phantom "Aokofags". I don't give a fuck about Rin but his point that you don't need to have some character arc or go through some great change is actually legit and I hate when fags bring that up like it is remotely necessary. Sometimes the best characters were perfect from the start and or right all along. Depending on the context of the story and which characters we're talking about of course. Anyway, keep at it fags.

>Do you really want me to embarrass you? You really would not enjoy it, given how highly you seem to regard yourself. But I'm more than ready to break down how shitty your writing is, Barney style.
Are you SEAL Marine too, with 90 confirmed kills? Do it, faggot.

>Has anyone actually told this to you?
It's blatantly obvious by how frequently they immediately resort to pointing out that Nasu's line of characters defined by the feisty tsundere archetype began with Aoko and can't stop calling Rin an inferior copy.

>Yes you are. You're literally basing your opinions on other people's opinions.
What the fuck are you even talking about, you stupid fucking retard? I said "I'm certain that Aoko is a great character" as a way to say "This character is in all probability most likely quite compelling". It's a figure of speech. I don't have an opinion on Aoko. This is just pathetic semantics by this point. No, it's not that; it's your desperately trying to grasp at whichever minor possible straw you can to heckin own the Rinfag. Stop trying to do some kind of 56D chess brilliant rhetorical maneuvers and just address the fucking arguments about Rin or I'm dropping this retarded conversation. I've had enough of your bullshit.

>The point here is to illustrate to the audience what an absolute nigger of a human being you are, to get you to put your foot in your mouth.
There's probably about three people that are going to read this conversation and none of the Rinfags in this general are going to stop liking me. Nor are the people who don't going to be swayed any other way. Yawn. How about we start talking about Rin, UBW and the romance therein now?

>This is why I have avoided talking about her multiple times now, whereas you can't keep Aoko or "aokofags" out of your fucking mouth.
Lmao nigger you literally accused me of being obsessed with Aoko while pretending Aokoniggers here aren't constantly seething about Rin, of course I'm gonna bring her up. A third of my fucking reply you are addressing there is about *Rin*. Nowhere in any of my many essays written on /tmg/ or on /a/ do I ever mention fucking Aoko.

>I have never said Rin is a bad character, like your delusions seem to dictate. Just that she doesn't have the same level of focus and precedence that Aoko does.
Anon, you literally said that Rin is *undeniably an objectively inferior character to Aoko*. Here's what you said, verbatim:

>But pretending she has the level of depth, focus and development that Aoko does is highly disingenuous.

This is such an utterly *arrogant* statement that it's shocking. Maybe if you didn't have your head up your own fucking ass you would realize how retarded it is. It's quite obvious that you think Rin is some shallow character people only like to jerk off to but you're too much of a fucking bitch to come out and say it.

You also said that Rin is less important to UBW than *Gilgamesh*. Rin's importance relative to Archer is already highly contestable -- I'd argue she is just as important, if not MORE SO. Again though, you don't want to have a discussion, you just wanna continue crafting your little victim narrative about people attacking muh heckin Aoko. The former claim is so utterly ridiculous that it made me laugh out loud. You are genuinely a very mediocre thinker and it's amusing to see you attempt to position yourself as any sort of intellect while being utterly incapable of engaging with any moderately sophisticated points. Rin is the fucking deuteragonist of FSN. She receives the single most amount of character development of any cast member outside of Shirou. She has two fucking routes where she undergoes extensive development. That is an objective FACT. It's not an expression of opinion.

Oh, and less not forget your claiming that Rin doesn't undergo an arc in UBW. Like lmao. Are you gonna fucking address that already? I'm losing my patience.

>Also bear in mind, this was in direct response to you claiming that the only reason anyone liked Aoko was "muh powerlevels", you disingenuous /v/ shitposter.
Oh ffs. Take your fucking meds already, you fucking schizo.

>How can you get so belligerent about me, who has read both Mahoyo and F/SN, saying this, when you have not read Mahoyo at all?
Maybe because it's one thing to say you prefer Aoko to Rin, and wholly another to claim she is indisputably superior while substantiating that statement with numerous utterly ridiculous arguments that at the same reveal a complete misunderstanding of Rin's character and her role in the story *and* making broad sweeping statements about art in general that are insanely close-minded and utterly ridiculous?

Alright, give me a bit. Don't know if I'll do it this instant, but I'll do it before this thread is dead, you have my word. Just remember, you signed your own death warrant.
>What the fuck are you even talking about, you stupid fucking retard?
>but that's because a great deal of people whom I deeply respect (who also love Rin btw) have vouched for her
This is a direct quote from you, retard. I don't know how else I'm supposed to interpret this, you're pretty clearly stating "I don't know anything about this character except what other people have told me".
>just address the fucking arguments about Rin
I don't care about Rin. I've said it multiple times. This is about me and you, at this stage. Not Rin vs. Aoko.
>Nowhere in any of my many essays written on /tmg/ or on /a/ do I ever mention fucking Aoko.
And nowhere have I given you flack for doing so. As I have said, I've been explicitly avoiding talking about Rin because I have nothing against her.
>This is such an utterly *arrogant* statement that it's shocking
The only thing arrogant here is you thinking you have a leg to stand on when you've admitted, multiple times at this point, that you haven't even read Mahoyo. I want you to explain to me why you think anyone should entertain your comparison, or why it isn't 100% disingenuous, when you literally know nothing about the source material for half of the argument.
> It's quite obvious that you think Rin is some shallow character
No, you just have some weirdo persecution complex where you automatically assume me saying X is better than Y means that Y is dogshit.
>You also said that Rin is less important to UBW than *Gilgamesh*.
I said it could be potentially argued, not that it "is". And being the primary antagonist to Shirou, the protagonist and principal focus of the route, saying such is not anywhere near as extreme a statement as your delusional waifufag ass is implying.
> you just wanna continue crafting your little victim narrative about people attacking muh heckin Aoko.
You're the one who keeps crying about being victimized. If you were attacking Aoko and actually knew what you were talking about, this conversation wouldn't exist. Like I said, you're blatantly a crossboarder that doesn't belong here and the type of shitposter that lets a piece of media he hasn't even touched live rent free in his head, and for reasons unbeknownst to the sane feels compelled to vociferously shitpost about it at every opportunity.
> Take your fucking meds already, you fucking schizo.
For what? That's literally a direct quote from you.
>Maybe because it's one thing
Again, explain why anyone should take you seriously when you haven't even read Mahoyo. Your opinion is utterly worthless. No amount of pontificating and purple prose on your part will change that.

>I don't know how else I'm supposed to interpret this, you're pretty clearly stating "I don't know anything about this character except what other people have told me".
lol anon, do I really have to spell it out? A bunch of people have recommended Mahoyo to me, people who were quite excited to hear my thoughts on Mahoyo because they've liked my analyses of FSN and Tsukihime. People who respect me, and I respect in turn. They told me they consider Aoko, Soujurou and Alice to be excellent characters. I doubt I'll be able to read through Mahoyo soon after the Western release is out, but I will do it eventually. And given the praise it's received, I'm going in with high hopes. That's all there is to it lol.

>This is about me and you, at this stage.
I really couldn't give less of a shit, to be honest.

>As I have said, I've been explicitly avoiding talking about Rin because I have nothing against her.
Perhaps you should apply this heuristic to myself and ponder upon why it is that I keep trying to steer the conversation away from your Aoko autism to a discussion on your assertions about Rin's character, then. Maybe it's because I don't really care about shitting on Aoko? Hmm...

>I want you to explain to me why you think anyone should entertain your comparison, or why it isn't 100% disingenuous, when you literally know nothing about the source material for half of the argument.
I genuinely have no idea what you are referring to here. I wasn't comparing Aoko and Rin, in my initial post that started this all of: >>41825148, I was comparing *my posts on why Rin is a great character* with *the posts of Aokofags on why Aoko is a great character*. I was referring to how incapable Aokofags are at providing a cogent in-depth explanation at why Aoko is so good while constantly shitting on Rin. I was attacking Aokofags who keep attacking me yet having no salient reason to do so beyond the fact that I absolutely adore Rin and like to talk about why I do so. Re-read what I said:

>Even though you can't stop constantly seething about me? Are you angry because I can actually explain why Rin is a good character while everything your kind can do is go "Le Rin has le love interest muh Aoko better cuz muh power levels muh DBZ Kamehamehas and Rasenguns"?

Where am I doing a comparison between Rin and Aoko here, anon? I'm not attacking Aoko, I'm attacking *Aokofags*.

>And being the primary antagonist to Shirou, the protagonist and principal focus of the route, saying such is not anywhere near as extreme a statement as your delusional waifufag ass is implying.
What nonsense. The primary antagonist of UBW is ARCHER. Shirou's character arc in UBW is centered around his relationships with Rin and Archer, and how those two character facillitate his inner conflict and ultimately help toward resolving it. Gilgamesh is not a character in any meaningful sense, he is a PLOT DEVICE. His relationship with Shirou isn't particularly deep or engaging. It serves its purpose and that's about it; it fulfills the necessary story beat of having Shirou not only proclaim the validity of his ideal in his fight with Archer but also actualize it in reality. And that's perfectly fine. But to pretend that Gilgamesh is any way important on his, that he is not simply there to facillitate the plot... that's just absurd.

>"It's like when you write - when you're younger, you look back on [previous work] and you think 'Oh, goodness what was I thinking,'" Nasu explained. "It's not that I'm embarrassed, I just don't like to look at my previous works."
>Nasu: When I wrote Kara no Kyoukai, I felt resistance towards so many things—society, entertainment, culture—and it was my motivation to write the story. Now, I am thrilled to be writing from a place of gratitude, though with just a touch of sadness. It feels like the old Nasu Kinoko has passed on. I suppose you could say I've gone under a heavy detox, and feel much more virtuous now (laughs).

>Q: In the first month of 2004 Fate went on sale. What was the reaction to it like?
>Takeuchi: They seemed to really like it, which made us very happy.
>Nasu: It was a title we believed in, so seeing it sell well gave us a lot of confidence. The reactions to it were both good and, in some cases, a little hollow. It was a victory that was both satisfying and hollow.
>Takeuchi: He's speaking of the Sakura route. A lot of people were disatisfied with it. Hence, the hollow feeling.
>Nasu: Yes, although recently more people are warming up to it. When it first came out, people were so excited and pleased by the Saber and Rin routes that they expected to keep proceeding down the royal road. The Sakura route is not like that at all, and they had trouble accepting that when it first appeared. We learned a lot from that experience.

What did Nasu mean by this? Why wasn't the Sakura route accepted?

Reminder that Shirou/Archer is the face of Fate, everything comes back to him thematically as a foil

Notice how for every route, the tackled characters are the ones that connect in some way. Like in UBW: Assassin, Archer, and Shirou are fakes, Caster betrayed like Archer was, Kuzuki's view of right and wrong in comparison to Shirou view and Archer's... etc.

Kirei is obvious as the anti-shirou, Saber and Gil are also likewise two different sides of the same coin and in turn shine a further light on Shirous heroic ideals.

Archer (EMIYA) makes for a good foil representing what shirou could become if he fails, and is a wonderfully detestable person when called for.

Shinji's foil of Gilgamesh and the anti-Sakura. Gilgamesh can achieve any of his goals and despises humans. Shinji can never achieve his goals and doesn't hate humans. But both strive for life affirmation from an external source and will never be content. And where Sakura blames herself for the world's problems, Shinji blames the world for his own problems.

Rider's motivations are in parallel with Sakura's (as is every servant with their master should be). She's a monster like Sakura is. She wants to protect Sakura like how Sakura wants to protect Shirou.

Even the side characters like Caster and co have something to them and further add to the elements concerning the main character (nurture vs nature being the big one with Caster and Kuzuki, while Kojiro as minor as he is represents what obsession can do to a person)

Gilgamsh is a foil to Saber because he was a bad king and she was a good king, he was a foil to Shirou since he was the original and S-man was the fake(also it was just so poorly written when he started going on about ideals only so Shirou could have a moment of awesome where he goes "Shut up! my ideals are awesome, come UBW", and in HF he was not really present much but he was just something that motivated a change in Sakura by putting her in danger enough to merge completely with Angya so that Imaginary Numbers could come back into existence.

It is banal to point out that given Type-Moon's popularity and Nasu's quality writing, it is trivially true that basically every single major character is well-written enough to attract intelligent and perceptive individuals capable of writing in-depth analyses of said character due to their love for them. Of course there's smart and insightful Aokofags. My posts always strictly refer to Aokofags as they exist right now on /tmg/, and many if not most of them are annoying and hold Rin in deep contempt while also being incapable of properly critiquing her, going so far as to lose their shit over my explaining why I like the character. They possess an utterly embarrassing anti-intellectual streak while simultaneously wishing to position themselves as being the anointed few of TM fans that are superior to the "unwashed masses" for liking less popular TM products. Yes, that post I chose to bring to attention was especially bad, even for an Aokofag. But it served to illustrate my point and it's retarded that someone would take that statement so literally.

The only somewhat decent part is Camelot, Babylonia and LB1 but otherwise it's a hot steaming pile of dog feces. I recommend not playing at all unless you have friends or willing to browse /alter/ or /onii-chan/ to try to maintain any interest you have built.

You asked, I delivered. A complete breakdown of how godawful your writing is. A man much smarter and infinitely more talented than you once said, "Brevity is the soul of wit". It means the hallmark of intellect isn't egregiously long sentences and paragraphs, that ostensibly exist only to obfuscate, but to make your point as succinctly and efficiently as possible. A quality you clearly do not possess. You write like a college student trying to pathetically pad his word/page count. It's genuinely painful to read.
You've made it clear that you don't care about this thread, or this board. But I do. So for the sake of everyone here, I'm keeping this autism out of the thread, so as not to be an eyesore. I'm also giving you a final out. You can choose not to open this cat's box:
https://controlc.com/5ea0c859

>lol anon, do I really have to spell it out?
Nah, you've made it crystal clear. That's never been the point of confusion. I'd like to know why you think you're qualified to speak on the comparison whatsoever, or have any opinion at all. You have not read Mahoyo. If someone who read both F/SN and Mahoyo says "Aoko is better than Rin", their opinion automatically trumps yours, poorly written essay or no. Because they read both VNs, and you did not. And you getting mad about it and lashing out at people who have read both for expressing their opinion is fucking absurd. This basically addresses the rest of your ceaseless whiny kvetching too.
>I wasn't comparing Aoko and Rin
You can try to claim that, but you're getting mad at the comparison, and lashing out at people. Which implies you believe there is some kind of fault therein, i.e. that one answer is right, and one answer is wrong. Also I don't know why you're linking this post. It clearly shows you're the one who started shit. No one said anything about Rin vs. Aoko until you brought it up, right there. This shit is so deeply embedded in your head that you bring it up completely unbidden.
>I was referring to how incapable Aokofags are at providing a cogent in-depth explanation at why Aoko is so good
The clear insinuation you're making here is that it "doesn't exist". This is reinforced by the way you attacked this post, >>41828265, so vehemently. And here >>41829322, you say pretty plainly "Your defense of Aoko".
>I'm not attacking Aoko, I'm attacking *Aokofags*.
So what was Aoko being "defended" from earlier? Your words, not mine. The mere, simple suggestion that someone thinks Aoko is better than Rin sends you into a frothing rage. Your reaction, which you so kindly linked, betrays your intent. The normal reaction for you, when confronted with someone saying "Aoko is better than Rin", should be complete apathy. "I haven't read Mahoyo, I have no idea if that's true or not". But that's not you. You get mad. You get angry. "How dare Aokofags say blah blah blah". Again, no one brought this up until you did.

The fact that you get so incensed and worked up over this topic, to the point that you're randomly lashing out at "Aokofags" over it, because they don't meet your arbitrary metric of poorly written paragraphs, is ridiculous. There's no reason for you to be mad about it, and you don't even have the right to be.

It's a fucking phone game, they have to make it so even the cheapest rinky dink smart phone can run it.
They also have to pander to the lowest common denominator. If they make the story too long or complex or focus too much on any one character or don't constantly break it up with busy work (fighting crabs) the gachaturds that play it will riot.

Why the fuck are you posting FGO garbage on here when it’s clear that shit isn’t tolerated? Come on now. I tolerated your garbage info dumps but I won’t be tolerating you posting shit like this. Fuck off.

Loving all this new Mahoyo art. I actually think this looks better as a cover than the other one with all the characters in it
