I started when I was a turboweeb in high school, now I'm doing it again for "self improvement" or something like that. I guess it would be nice to move forward in my engineering career working with Japanese people, since I've heard that if you learn a language you get made into a representative working with people who speak it natively. It honestly takes time for things to fully sink in and for you to become comfortable with them. Trying to do it all the time probably doesn't help you much. Think of it like going to the gym and lifting weights. You need rest days between sessions otherwise it hampers your growth and you get nowhere. Your brain needs to rest between sessions of learning to process what you've learned. You just gotta be more patient with these things, Japanese is considered one of the hardest languages for native English speakers to learn even WITH 10% of the language being English loan words.

I dont know where else to ask this. I bought the new Persona 5 Royal Switch game from a BIC Camera outlet store today and used my points to get about 2000 yen off the price. Sadly, once I started playing, I realized there was no option for English subtitles. I tried to keep playing for a bit, but having to constantly stop to look up words got really annoying.
