I've seen a number of threads which talk about sheet music and the like for piano and guitar of both Touhou and Vocaloid songs, but I never see any bass tabs mentioned. I'm sure they exist since I have seen quite a few basslines for Vocaloid/Touhou music, but there never seem to be any tabs included. Of course, some people might just play it by ear, such as Tissue-hime, but others surely would have to read off tabs to play it.

tl;dr bass tabs for Tohuou/Vocaloid music, does it exist?

>> No.4149052

why would anyone want to play to touhou music?

>> No.4149268

Sorry bro, you gotta play it by ear.

The other option is to go to nico and search the name of the song plus "ベース". Some people who perform bass covers make tabs too. Of course, if there are no tabs you can just watch their hands to help you learn by ear.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs

Ahh damn, I'm still a novice at bass, so I was hoping to try some songs I'd be more enthusiastic about playing, which in turn would help me practice. Looks like I have a long way to go yet.

I have some bass tabs/sheets for Kira Kira, interested in that?

Very much so, anything /jp/ related goes really. I just happen to listen to a lot more Vocaloid/Touhou music so I'd find it more familiar.

I'm ordering a bass this weekend, I've been wanting to start learning for a while

Wish me luck!

Give me a link to a song that you want, and if it's not too complex, I'll try writing a tab for you.

That's news for me. Do you know where can I find music sheets of the Touhou songs?

Bass? Is that the guitar that doesn't make any sound?

The first one might be a bit difficult seeing as there is no existing bassline for it, but it's probably my favorite Miku song. On the upside, the song is fairly simplistic.

There have been a number of threads where the OP and fellow anons have shared links to scores of sites with sheet music for touhou etc. Check easymodo and you should find them.

Here are the ones I have, I'm guessing two of them are from Curtain Call. It has my favorite "Like a Life, Like a Live!".
