For example, if a parent told his child not to speak to strangers, he wouldn't have to follow the same rule, now would he ?

Her name is Featherine Augustus Aurora.

Featherine -> feather + in -> 羽 ("feather") + 入 ("in") -> Hanyuu

And Augustus Aurora -> Auau should be obvious.

Oh, and her human form has the name 八城十八 (Hachijou Touya). 八城 (Hachijou) can also be read as "yashiro". Add an honorific "o" to the beginning and what do you get?

I see, I'm no big fan of Sartre but since you mention him I think I understand where you're coming from. It seems we've tackled this from different outlooks, which is why it looks like we're in opposition. Let me just say I had no intention of arguing, I just wanted some confirmations on your perspective, since there's quite a lot of room for ambiguity around this subject.

AuAu: I accept your conditions. You may seat yourself. The game master is... you.
Bern: ... You're sure? You're really, really sure? [BERNTWISTEDFACEHERE]
AuAu: To vent your resentment, you can create any story you want. I have no interest in that. But I also have a condition. You must resolve all the answers I want. No secrets or hiding things.
Bern: Ufufufufufufufufuf... Leave it to me. Splitting up the innards and dragging out all that is inside is that I do best... It's what you taught me to do.
AuAu: I will make the tea... Not with magic, but by my own hands. The mistress will prepare tea for her miko.
Bern: Beato used to say that to enjoy tea, its best to have a witch as your companion.
AuAu: For us... it's different, isn't it? Fufufufufufufufu.

And without knowing when, the plate of biscuits disappeared in a whiff of red bubbles... and returned to a pile of minced meat. No... Not just meat... Innards. Intestines.

AuAu + Bern: To drink tea... it is best to do it with FELLOW MONSTERS."

Well shit. So much for this.

>> No.4148176

The way god should have raised us, if was really loving and care about us:
Put us each in our own separate universes. We are the only sentient beings in these universes, so we can do anything we want without being evil. They are custom designed for us with perfect emulations of sentient beings that use non-sentient algorithms that run in computers linked up by some divine connection, and those that mutually choose to interact can be allowed to do so. This way we are happy and have free will. If free will only applies after we are born this is even easier, as we can be born as good adults all in the same world.

If he wants us to grow into adults these worlds can be designed to be near perfect with that specification also added in. Even if there are major contradictions it would be a lot better than the current world. Those who grow into adults can live in the kingdom of god while the rest of us can enjoy ourselves in our other worlds. Failure to do this implies he is either not all-powerful, not all-loving, or is trying to force inheritently incompatible specifications on the world, in which case he is crazy.

Although the cockroach may not understand human explanations of more complex phenomena, it can still understand a simple concept like happiness, defined in its case as having all physical needs met. The same applies to the human god relationship and understanding of happiness.

So fuck you anyone who defends gods bullshit.

Dear teacher,

You make very, very poor assertions. If you wish to spark debate, I suggest you do the following:
a) Don't pull shit out of your ass.
b) 250 words is barely enough for one to scratch their ass, much less write an essay on this crap.
c) Pick something less pretentious. We have more than enough blithering idiots claiming to have 'philosophical thoughts' running the good name of philosophy through the mud as it is. LOLDEEP doesn't equate to LOLPHILOSOPHY, and you should feel bad for thinking that it does.

Yours truly,
David

Perfection is aspiring for something we do not have.

If God indeed made us in his image, then that means he is imperfect.
He is imperfect because He is perfect, and we are perfect because we carry flaws to balance our strengths.

Yes, and it's time /jp/ grew up and realized that. I've been a /jp/ fag since it split from /a/. The market is moving on, 3D sluts are the wave of the future. If you need any more proof look at the money photographers make vs your small time doujin artists. There is no comparison. Soon enough japan will kill itself off and the only waifus you will have left are those from deviant art. The 3D sluts will have taken over by then and it will be too late to switch, for it will be 2012. Factions will form and your side is already decided. Can you live with that /jp/? The war is coming, are you ready?

<blue text>More base assumptions are required for god to exist than for it to have been alien or AI because god is very small subset of all possibilities. Aliens or AI allow more possibilities, and so are a larger subset of the probability space. Since it's a Bayesian probability, the result is actually deterministic, and then Occam's razor can be applied. For something extremely unlikely that requires exact details to occur as opposed to one of a general set would require more base assumptions and complexity than the general set. Therefore it was an alien or AI who broke the rock, by your own Occam's razor.</blue text>
