good god I'm still terrible. Positioning with Remi is fucking hard, and her short stubby loli arms don't exactly help at melee range. When I do manage to land a hit, it's usually just 2 quick slaps, and I'm not able to follow up with a combo or a gaurdstring.

How do I get th075Booster to work? Does it automatically record information from matches or do I have to enable it somehow?

You can only do melee if you get a read that he's going to bait you, and no good player is going to bait you if you don't give them something to bait (bombs, DPs, etc). Additionally, 22s are disadvantageous on block so as long as they're not trapped you can attack afterwards.

You can't mash your way out of stuff here, it does not work in this game at all.

I'm learning whatever I can from this:

Someone in #iamp was kind enough to give me that video. If you want to look up videos of specific characters, replace query=remilia with query=______.

Those 6DB juggle combos with Remilia are insanely hard to master. Hell, I can't even do her standard noob 5AA + 6A + 236A + BOMB + j.B consistently.

If you want 'insanely hard to master', you should see her corner blockstring: 6b 236c HJC7 j.2c j.6d j.a

If done CORRECTLY it is airtight and you can just do it again and again on landing until the opponent is crushed. You have roughly a 3 frame window to hit j.2c and it's almost immediately after HJC7. Shit's hard, not even many in Japan can do it reliably.

Nothing else Remi has is particularly difficult, it's all just very basic timing and rhythm, even by fighting game standards they're pretty simple.(Don't get me started on SF/KoF/etc input tricks, oy.)

Of course, the real trick is getting the position for it in the first place. Like everything else in IaMP, it's situational, and the _real_ trick is fighting for that situation in the first place without owning yourself in the process. Damage has a price here.
