Also, let's talk about different variations of tsunderes.

Personally, I'd like to see a story about a tsundere mom who is still slightly tsundere to her husband and is slightly clumsy when it comes to her son. It could start out fairly innocuous, but halfway through the series, the focus would shift to the Tsundere mom's disintegrating marriage... she'd find her out her husband has been cheating on her with her old highschool friend, there'd be flashbacks to highschool days, etc. Maybe it'd fall into a KimiNozo-like development. Maybe not.

Could be interesting, though.

Well, actually, I was thinking of a mom who has a lot of pride and has some kind of image to maintain, so she puts on a strict face despite the fact that she's really soft inside.

There's probably be a degree of self-hate in there, too. The self-hate is important. Also, guilt and possibly regret about the past.

A tsundere variation I'd like to see: A grown man. He regularly abuses the woman he loves verbally and physically, as any good tsundere would. When he clearly crosses the line, he lets his dere side out and gets her presents or takes her out to dinner. Many gags in the series will revolve around people's reactions when he gets too tsuntsun in public.
