I already have the emulator and game I want to play, Its just that when I try to set it up with AGTH it only outputs the text from the actual emulator, not the game its running....

won't work, the emulator doesn't send text to windows' text rendering service so agth has nothing to pick up
also the letters in games are stored as images inside the game, not as glyphs

Agth only captures text sent to the window's text render functions, which is what vn's use. Obviously the PS2 doesn't run windows, so it's fucking impossible to capture the game's text.
