>What is this?

Era games are a group of (usually) Japanese-developed text porn games.
They're not exclusively related to the Touhou franchise, but it's one of the series with most era games.

>How to play?
Run anchor.exe, japanese locale is advised so you don't run into untranslated text.
If you wish to manually update, delete old files aside the sav and dat folders to avoid any bugs.

You could try your hand at translating dialogue, there are guides currently in the TW folder (in #Translation) on what to do, not sure if it that folder exists in other games.
Another guide is:
1) Download an IDE. VS Code, for example.
1a) If using VS Code, install the EraBasic addon
2) Select UTF8 encoding
3) Open the ERB files and edit them
That way you can now edit files without much trouble.
The path for files to edit is usually the ERB folder:

TW: ERB\口上・メッセージ関連\個人口上

You can also report bugs or typos here on the thread when you see them.
If you'd like to either edit or add your own portraits, the files are located within the 'resources' folder in webp format. You can use paint.net to edit them.

It feels like shit getting punished when I should logically have the easiest out possible. And like I said, if its really that broken just inflate the cost to anywhere between 500-4000 TSP depending on how intense the situation is. I heard someone mention that you cant do things like rest in TSP because it requires a level of mental focus and control, so just apply that to escaping after a prank. The higher the threat the more the cost to ensure safety. IE, against Akyuu isnt that stressful because of how weak she is so it would only take 500, but if it was Yuugi it'd be about 2k, and if it was Hecatia than hope you didnt use any tsp that day because thats a whole bar to ensure safety.
As for the toggles Ill try and reasonable. I get it, right now its just a small line with some leaps in logic and nothing more, but if you ever make more than that please include a toggle. I dont want either of us to be schizos about it, so just know when you've hit the point its too much to be forced and put in a toggle then.

It's hard to deny that. Era games might survive for 10, 20 years so someone might bite the bullet and do it. I doubt anyone will add a male character in the near future, though; considering most of the players are straight men (wild guess).
So if you might want to learn japanese and to code if you want proper interactions with male 2hus.
By the way, do you play as a female? Is there any girl with exclusive dialog for a female lover in TW? I think I remember that Remilia had some lines in K but that's about it.

Except for Naoto, who was really the only person who pushed the plot forward in the original game outside of Yu. Also means we miss out on a futa Shadow Naoto unit, I'm not into it but I know tons of others would love that
This will get a little off track, but the SoL antics is what I want here, as well as the shitty friendship power stuff. Not only would it have been a nice distraction from, everything else that is eraMegaten it wouldve been neat to see the potential contrast between MC and the IT. Hell, MC could become a potential suspect to the rest of the IT group, making the story a lot more interesting than the original. And while you can argue Rise isnt needed for this, it certainly needs Naoto, who was one of the only other party members with at least half a brain. And while you certainly dont need to get rid of the DS quest for these changes to be made, the problem is it's existence could make others feel less willing to do that.

I've been considering it, but for code I cant really do squat, not from scratch at least. The most I can do is edit some values and copy sections of code. I could, at the very least, likely write out a story blueprint and some small dialogues but that's barely a step above being an "Ideas guy" and even then I havent tried so lord know how good I actually am.

Yeah, the flat healing items are only really useful for spot heals outside of combat or early on. Even with Kyouko who has lv3 item knowledge, the item mastery talent, and triple item mastery skills only turns something like a bezoar's 200 heal into a 360 heal. On the otherhand that set up turns offensive items into something actually worth using, life stones also get a decent boost and heal about 45%.

This is technically a non-complaint, but I dont like how it says this when you enter Heaven the first time. That is not a good idea, you are recommended to be level 45 for this dungeon and Teddie joins at level 5. Sure he technically has dialogue if you bring him with but he is not an asset worth wasting an exploration just to go back and grab.

The translation for the second version (the money one) seems to be a bit off, though. The Japanese appears to mention teleportation and cause/effect reversal, instead of hypnosis and super speed, but the translation uses the same line for both the Omikuji appearing as well as the money being returned.

Either way, I'm highly amused that the offertory box's power is apparently so bizarre that it terrifies even a man who can stop time.

Since it's still a Physical skill, Powercharge and Cut Off works with it. I mean, this character learns those two 'charge' skills as part of her skill set. The only problem (if you want to call it a problem) with the 'uses Magic for damage calculation' part when the skill is Short Range is that it does mean they'll be at the front but with low Str their normal attacks won't deal as much. On the other hand though, since you're raising Magic instead to boost their damage they also get a much larger MP pool. But I guess this is just normal Magic-focused characters on the frontline things anyway.

What does confuse me sometimes are Physical skills that uses Magic for damage calculation, but then it also says in the description 'if user is concentrated, do x'. Does it mean that Powercharge still works to trigger that, or does it specifically require them to use Concentrate?

Just spam headpats and skinship to get the meters up. Favor, Desire, and Loyalty should all be at Lv 10 (50 points each), and the Intimacy, Lust, and Servitude skills also gain benefits up 'till rank ten (100 points each), and pushing up the mood and composure down will also increase score.

Yes, there's a few natural futas and you can make anything you get into one if you want. Just as a heads up its not immediate something is a futa until you check their traits, for example when in battle Sadako has a female symbol like any other normal female demon but is still a futa and will fuck you in the ass if you ask her for sex in negotiations

Combat dialogue is usually at the bottom of the file and it wasn't there for that so so try and look in the K9000 file (Rinko Dialogue) for code that actually has english comments to explain what the code does. Just copy the code from there and replace the actual dialogue parts.
