In order to cover that kind of distance in the split-second a typical sword slash takes to execute, she would have to be capable of moving at far beyond hypersonic speed; her slowest sword slashes have been calculated to move at speeds in excess of Mach 70 (70 times the speed of sound, or 53,200 mph/85,120 km/h at sea level), fast enough to circle the entire Earth at the Equator in less than half an hour and around three times the speed required to orbit the Earth, for reference. One doujinshi (Touhou Kaidan Seven #3) went into far too much detail trying to work out the specifics of this, and determined that her theoretical top speed was approximately one quarter of the speed of light...

The only Indian aircraft that was able to consistently defeat American F-15's was the export version of the Su-30.
The Mig21's that the Indians were flying in the Red Flag operations were M21 Bisons with Israeli radar equipment, and the F-15's pretty much swept them.

The success of India's air force against US fighters in an exercise suggests the US may be losing its air superiority, a US general has said.

Gen Hal Hornburg said an exercise in February, known as Cope India, had been "a wake-up call".

The mock air battles in central India had pitted US F-15s against advanced Russian-designed Sukhoi SU-30s.

General Hornburg said the results show the US may not be as far ahead of the rest of the world as it had thought.

>> No.4125572

>>4125567
The Inside the Air Force official newsletter also discussed the "Russian victory," and reported even more details. F-15 C/D Eagle fighters were pitted against not only Su-30 MKI fighters but also MiG-27s, MiG-29s, and even the older MiG-21 Bisons, which also performed well. The fighters not only defeated the F-15s but the French-made Mirage-2000 as well. According to the Washington ProFile Web site, the results of the exercises surprised the American pilots.

Meanwhile, Russian military experts and aircraft designers did not seem surprised by these victories. The Sukhoi general designer, Mikhail Simonov, has repeatedly told RIA Novosti and other news agencies the Su-27 Flanker and the Su-30 MKI, a modified version of the Flanker, which are now in service in the Indian Air Force, were developed in the 1980s in response to the F-15 Eagle. Moreover, Soviet designers had stipulated far superior specifications. Consequently, Russian experts were not particularly surprised that the performance of the fighters matched their specifications.

It is is one of the most recognized modern fighters. Following reviews of proposals, the United States Air Force selected McDonnell Douglas' design in 1967 to meet the service's need for a dedicated air superiority fighter. Touhous are weak.

Their accelation and climb rate is horrible. They have an OK turn-rate, but only at the expense of speed.

Their WVR-weapons consist only of rapid-firing projectile weapons, comparable with mid-calibre autocannons in the 50. cal range. These weapons are only guided with a primitive FCS, the mk.1 eyeball.
Touhous do not have any sophisticated sensor systems like Radar, or EOS/IRST, making them unable to use BVR-weapons and self-guiding missiles.

for that matter; Touhous are pretty much like upgraded first generation fighter planes and not a real threat to any potent fighter-plane in this word.

They are only good when they are used as paint for modern 4th gen. fighters. pic related.
