Isn't the point of spellcard duels the fact that strength difference doesn't matter and that even weaklings could beat the strongest? So why does ZUN say that the Watatsukis cannot be beaten in a spellcard duel because they're too strong? Doesn't make sense.

Weakling mainly means "person who happens to be a low level on the social hierarchy". You still need a level of actual skill in danmaku to win a duel. They are just too good at danmaku I guess.

Its made by Reimu and high ranking youkais, you think they want it to benefit low ranked trash? The only weak youkai that is good at spellcard is Seija and its because she is far more intelligent than your average low ranked youkais. Intelligence does matter, as that explains why Kasen and Suika are on another level in Spellcard than Yuugi
