If you want to stretch the definition, maybe, but it really isn't its own industry anymore and its consumption and marketing isn't (blatantly) sexual. I do prefer the current status quo in the abstract because true exploitation in my opinion is bad, but to me the problem with the paradigm shift was the lack of a transition or "grandfathering". As an example, Bakky did not respect the agreed boundaries of consent. It is clear how most still consented to more at the time, but legally it was declared rape because consent was breached at all. I see, I see. I could very easily just use a streaming site to watch jav, but torrents spoil me with the higher definition quality and smoother frame rate.
