Yuyuko is a spirit with much power, yet much responsibility and work in the afterlife. She manages to remain composure and be completely unstressed because of her lighthearted attitude and her servant Youmu, who she teases and preys upon for amusement and stress relief.

Youmu, who is fiercely loyal to her mistress, willingly(although uncomfortably) takes the abuse and still strives to serve her mistress in every way she can. Servitude and loyalty are her life, and she may even enjoy it in a masochistic way.

Who would you rather be? I have a rough time deciding, myself.

Have you played through Imperishable Night with them? Because Yuyuko teases Youmu for her own amusement in every dialogue. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Back to the initial question, I'd rather be Youmu, because Yuyuko is a wonderful touhou and I'd love to be subservient to her~ ♥ ♥ ♥

There is something to suggest that Yuyuko teases Youmu, more or less all over Imperishable Night. Eirin even comments on it.

One could say discipline and loyalty is a kind of masochism. Not enjoying the discomfort and/or pain, per se, but enjoying the chance to serve.
