That looks like a really pleasant place to play Mahjong. They're surrounded by shrubbery, and there appears to be a small lake and stream in the middle of the Mahjong table.

Also, they seem to be playing Hong Kong style Mahjong where they just throw discards into the middle without any order (this benefits people with eidetic memories).

That's the reson they keep eiki-sama around. She knows everybody's sins, which obviously include cheating at mahjong. Tewi's gonna win this as result because being lucky doesnt count as cheating, while gapping tiles, swapping tiles during timestop and mind reading(arguably) are all cheating.

Well, it is apparent that he is relatively new to mahjong going for an open san shoku. The best course would have been to discard the safe 6 man pair here, also the suji point to a 1-4-7 wait being dangerous. I certainly wouldn't have guesses a chii toi itsu though.
