It really is saddening how terrible the quality of American cartoons are now to their older counterparts.

I have a few DVDs of the old Noveltoon animation series that are among the first generation of recolored cartoons. There's this one episode of Raggedy Ann, where Ann is handed to a little blind girl and she tells the little girl to imagine the world and its colors by feeling. Thanks to Ann the little girl experiences a new magical world around the Bronx street that she lives in.

Shit made me baww.

Now I turn on the tube and I see shit like that talking dog show with the two redhead sisters and I fucking rage.

My favorite episode of that show was the one where they go to a garbage dump and suddenly re-imagine themselves to be space explorers crashed onto a mutant planet. That shit was good. This was probably the 2nd or 3rd episode after the original pilot.
