That is a hilarious way of thinking how the 3d models work, but usually there's dots on the suit that corresponds to the equivalent part on a model (shoulder dot goes on your shoulder, knee dot goes on your knee, etc.) and that's how they figure out which body part moves which part of the model. Not sure how the suitless camera based 3d tracking work but it should be similar.
