-The Spring 2022 Event, "Fierce Battle! R-Area Operation", is underway. The Main Operation consists of 3 maps, and the Extra Operation, "Bloody Battle! Bizarre Battle off Cape Bono", will be released on June 17th.
-The new ships are Japanese submarine I-201 (E-1/2 drop) and Kagerou-class destroyer Hayashio (E-3 reward). The Old Mary, BB-46, will be implemented in the EO, which will be based on Ten-Gou.
-The new equipment is the Late Model Radar & Passive Radiolocator + Snorkel Equipment, Late Model Bow Torpedo Mount (4 Tubes), and the legendary B-25 Mitchell land-based attack bomber.
-The useless hotel has received her Kai-II and Kai-II Juu remodels. Her Kai-II is an FBB version and requires level 88, 3BP, 1 AR, 3 New Model Gun Mount Improvement Mats, and 2 New Model High Temp High Pressure Boilers. Her Kai-II Juu is a BBV and requires level 93. It's possible to convert between the two.
-There is a new special attack that can be triggered by the useless hotel Kai-II/IIJuu and Musashi Kai-II. It can also be activated with the hotel and certain battleships as the second ship. Kongou Kai-IIC's special attack has been buffed.
-5 new quests have been added. New equipment implemented are the Proto 51cm Triple Gun Mount, 15.5cm Triple Secondary Gun Mount Kai-II, and 10cm Twin High-angle Gun Mount Battery Concentrated Deployment.
-Haruna will receive her Kai-IIB side remodel some time this year. It will be showcased in the Mitaina! issue in June.
-Musashi Kai-II and useless hotel Kai-II/IIJuu are now able to equip 15.5cm secondary guns and 15m Rangefinder + Radar in a holepunch.
-The April ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment is the 15m Duplex Rangefinder + T21 Radar Kai-II + Skilled Fire Director.
-New and returning Tsuyu CGs and voice lines have been implemented. Furniture and Jukebox BGMs have been updated.
-The Summer 2022 Event will take place in Europe again.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to critical DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures will remain until further notice. EN EO now bypasses the block. Another possible workaround is using https://github.com/Tibowl/KCCacheProxy

Probably the Slava, since they were actually designed as cruisers and not converted from destroyers. Although that brings in a few points, one of which being what cruiser do you actually compare since cruisers, particularly American ones got really BIG by the end of the war. Another is what do you consider Kirov to be, just a CG or a battlecruiser or something else? And, of course, the last official cruisers built were before the Burke set a new weight limit for DDGs, meaning they weren't able to increase in size accordingly.

So not really a big increase if you use Slava as a reference, if you use Kirov as a refence then it's a huge increase. You could also consider Zumwalt or the Type 055 destroyers as cruisers due to their size, at which point cruisers would have grown as much as destroyers.

Two concentrated AA guns to AACI with, a big gun you can only get the 2nd of as a reward. Middle is up to choice: already have 2 46cm Kai at +6, and don't see the need for more of the radar when Sushi gives you one and E4 gives the other. Plus from what I saw the secondaries take some work to fully upgrade.

What AV did you use in E2?
Both zeka and kiton seem to use Nisshin on E2, and from further maps it seems AVs only get used in combined fleets to provide air ability. But I guess I hesitate to blow my best AV on an early map.

The problem for me though is that I then need to go double check which dupes he's using since he doesn't have an overall list of ships used.
Like it's one thing if it's a KTKM or any other power ship dupe, I have tons of CLT dupes. Another thing entirely if it's Isonami which I don't keep dupes of. Even worse if it's something hard to farm like one of the Yuugumos.
For me it's basically a matter of convenience, I'm already using guides because I can no longer be arsed to bother to build my own fleets, so needing to put in that extra effort to verify that all dupes used are something I can handle is annoying.
