So, Ran awakes abruptly while snoozing after finishing her chores, finding herself naked on a futon on a floor made from various living youkai. Apparently she's been translocated off into JAPAN by forces unknown, because next to her sits Omachi having her tails brushed by a small army of demonic geisha. Omachi dismisses her little cohort and disrobes, making an exceptionally blunt attempt at seducing Ran who remains quietly dismissing even has her head down between her legs.
Then -don't ask how the hell how, because I have no clue- the scene shifts abruptly and Ran has Omachi pinned down, pleasuring her in a way that is best described as merciless while teasing her about -get this- fear of getting pregnant, or "swell heavy with kits" as she puts it. Then she teases her about not getting any pleasure from her servants who can't get around being disgusted at the thought of touching another woman, and going to such lengths to get some worthwhile company to bed. Then they cuddle for hours...

... after which we're suddenly back in the Yakumo kitchen where Ran is standing in her apron cooking stir fry, with Chen sitting on the sink with her nose halfway down in the pan. Ran wipes Chen's nose after making sure she didn't burn herself, then sends her off to "do homework".
Then there's some sort of weird flashback with Ran naked in a field being run through with arrows by samurai, and closing with Ran standing crying over the sink.

And yeah, somehow actually dreamt this.

Like a lot of characters, Ran is still mostly a mystery.

I do like the fanon Ran that is Yukari's voice of reason and able to spar with her on a close footing or even rebel.

Considering that a lot of time has passed since Yukari made Ran a shikigami, I wonder if Yukari just doesn't realize that Ran's natural powers might have grown in the time since she enslaved her. The way Yukari talked about Ran in the BAiJR interview you'd think she'd be a weakling when she disobeyed Yukari's orders in PCB, despite being an Ex boss.

I remember seeing one "gap demon" Ran fanart, but other than that, I don't think the community has thought about it that much.
