I feel like it's got to be an expensive genre for the studios to film. The actresses are probably paid less for a harem scene than a one-on-one scene, but as long as they're getting fucked or performing other sex acts I doubt they'd agree to work for absolute peanuts. Advice for both of you, be proactive and have a backup solution. You CAN prevent this from happening.
If you don't already know, look into RAID. It's a way to set up hard drives to use multiple together in different configurations.
If you have at least 3 hard drives you can use RAID 5, which adds redundancy so that if any one of your hard drives fails you won't lost anything.
If you have at least 4 hard drives you can do RAID 6 so that you can lose up to TWO hard drives without losing any data.
If you don't want to think about it as much but don't mind spending about $200, just buy a fat 10tb cheap HDD and manually back everything up.
At the very least if nothing else download crystalDiskInfo and occasionally check your hard drives out. If it starts to go bad it will tell you about any errors and sometimes you can move things over before it's too late.

Hard Drives are very weird to fix once their broken. Not something you can do without being an expert with the right tools. But you can take measures to make sure things don't go south. That is if you really care enough. If not just keep doing your thing
