Sucks to be you bro I got a NTSC-J 360 specifically for Cave shooters, and three US games I want to play.

>> No.3980432

Stop taking about good games here.

>> No.3980441

>>3980428
I dont see the point of region locking games which they wont even publish outside Japan.

damn douchebags

>> No.3980444

>>3980441
I doubt they do it because they want to. Microsoft probably requires it.

>> No.3980446

This isn't even confirmed region locked yet.

>> No.3980447

>>3980444
Then why didnt they region lock Mushihime futari?

man I am confused

>> No.3980448

Wait, then new one is region locked?

Despite the whole "If anyone outside Japan buys Mushihimesama 1.5, we won't region lock any more"?

Joke company.

>> No.3980452

>>3980444
Seeing as Mushihimesama Futari wasn't locked, and almost the entire US library of games is playable on an NTSC-J console I doubt it. Sucks if you got a PAL 360 though.

>> No.3980455

DeathSmiles is J only too right?

>> No.3980456

>>3980452
Does xbox 360 region mod switches exist or is that a thing of the past?

>> No.3980464

Also thought of this a second ago. Considering Mushihimesama sold pretty well it's also a possibility they are trying to do a retail release outside Japan.

Nope, don't think it's possible at all.

I thought they did, hardware mods

>> No.3980472

Why the hell are they region locking anyway, when they have no intention of ever releasing anything outside Japan? Do they have to pay Microsoft to make things region free, or are they just being douches?

>> No.3980474

Seriously, why the fuck do they region lock? It's not like the 360 actually sells in Japan.

>> No.3980475

>>3980471
Yeah, but I think it completely changes the region of your console, so there's no switching between them.

>> No.3980479

>>3980474
It's actually pretty popular, considering. People like to play Idolmaster, after all.

>> No.3980480

>>3980474
Of course it sells. The 360 is the system with all the otaku games.

>> No.3980482

I see...It sucks that the only stg I got for 360 is Ikaruga

That is indeed horrible.

Im@s and Dream C Club aren't enough, any other console is better for an otaku.

>> No.3980497

As much as I am pissed off about this region locking crap.

I find it strange that there is not somekind of import adapter/disc like Swap Magic etc
there has been one for every stinking console

>> No.3980500

>>3980493
You seem to be forgetting about all the galge ports and shooters.

>> No.3980498

My suggestion is the next time your 360 dies buy a NTSC-J one from NCSX if you are out of warranty. You'll be able to play your US games on it anyways. I've been playing the US edition of Tales of Vesperia no problems.

Feels bad for us PAL bros.

So there's not even a single CAVE xbla game for US?

Most PAL gamers are used to constantly getting fucked over by now.

>> No.3980512

>>3980509
Yes we are but even back then we had somekind of way to get past the region locks by modding or just buying some converter cart or disc.

>> No.3980513

Oh shit I forgot to download Tales of Vesperia!

XBLA does not even have Gradius and you expect it to have some cave games..

Well there was Ikaruga...
Damn I need a NTSC-J xbox.
Wait...

Why would this matter if J region also plays US, plus, most of the new american games are region free.

Otaku console you say?

>> No.3980543

Dream C Club developers mentioned that they would like port for the PS3. I bet they wait till they cashed in enough DLC money from the 360 user.

And Idolmaster is on PSP. I can't see that they won't release a PS3 Idolmaster too.
