It seems that Japan is reworking some of it's laws governing AV and I was curious if anyone here knew anything about what's being discussed.

So now the Japanese government is reworking that legislation to be consistent with other laws so that only those under 18 would be allowed to request unlimited revocation of their participation in such works.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone with better Japanese than me knew more about what is being proposed, because I know that the above is not the only potential changes to their laws that is being discussed.

You realize the paradox nature of this statement yourself, right? Otherwise I fully agree. There is literally no agency (gravure, AV or even fashion/pop culture sector) that leaves material rights with the models. None. Never. They have so sign off all rights to the material and don't get any royalties at all. This is industry standard. One of the reasons is exactly what you've mentioned. If models could revoke publishing rights, it would be economic suicide for the agencies.
