Ok, I've never played a Super Robot Wars game, but im usually pretty goof at SRPG's. However for Battle Moon Wars, the whole sharing of xp leaves me unsure on how to progress.

Generally, which characters, stats, and skills are more useful, and should I devote the points to only a limited few, or spread it out more. If limited which characters are seen as good investments.

All I know is that Saber fucks shit up.

>> No.396687

Dump your points into Saber.

Get Hit and Run for the long ranged attackers (Rin, Sakura, etc) and Off. Support.

You'll figure it out, it's a really easy game.
Easy enough that you don't need to upgrade.

>> No.396797

How do you get items? Also, which characters can you missed out on and how do you get them? Finally, which characters will stay in your party in each route? I don't want to waste points upgrading them only to have them join once in a while.

>> No.396834

Give SP regen, counter and revenge on Lancer.
Spam Focus and lol as he runs into the enemy lines and fucks everyone who attacks him.

>> No.396852

as long as u have kohaku u dont even need to upgrade

>> No.396943

OP here

lol yeah, I just beat part one with all masteries and never upgraded.

Fun game though.

>> No.396963

whats the point of getting all the masteries?

Donno, like I said, I've never play a SRW game, but it wants me to get it, so I have to.

I think it just gives you a shitload of more points.

Can anyone confirm this?

Still no translation for it yet I'm guessing.

QFT

You literally do not need to upgrade any of your characters to play through/beat the game.

>> No.398152

give ryogi the archer and rider cards, and tohno the phantasmoon rod and the archery suit.

throw them in two separate monster crowds and have fun. no need to use focus.

>> No.398154

To be honest I'm just dumping my points onto the servants and doing just fine as a result.

>> No.398156

where are the updates for BMW? i need them to apply the english patch, right?

>> No.398195

Rin has hit&run from the beginning, dumbass.

Regarding character restrictions, remember you can't get Sacchin on Real route. Which sucks ass.

>> No.398204

I played all the way through the first two acts without upgrading anything. I guess upgrading only makes the game even easier than it already is.

>> No.398213

Getter Robos do 3000 fucking damage

>> No.398210

Get SP Regen first.
For as many as you can.
Using focus, alert (and Trust for Kohaku) almost constantly will help you get without a scratch from the normal enemies.
And if there's not time limit (assuming you go for battle masteries), you can sit back and replenish your SP.

After that, get either OFF.Support for people with LOW HP ,who wouldn't survive a straight attack and don't do THAT much damage, so that they can chip on, or

Attacker for your heavy hitters who can survive a hit from a boss (and deal a fuckton of damage).

After that, you either choose skills fitting a character or boost their stats.

>> No.398338

Upgraded takumi = Insane damage and takes none.
