Monks regen to full at the end of a turn even when wiped out, she is about on par with warriors, but her defense sucks. This all added to the fact she starts with 800-1000 (for me atleast) she makes a good char to just throw into a battle to do a little damage and suck up damage at no cost.

use omachi. as long as you don't seriously suck, using her will almost always let you win. if you don't want to do that, use all guard on elina. try to ass the top right footsolider. use only long range attackers and try to take down the two soft targets in the back.

Beat it a long time ago bro, had to spend two turns building up prep even then it took me 3 tries. On turn 23 now and about to finish off the warrior goddess chick's kingdom. After than It's on to Ran's kingdom because last game I got my ass raped by the flaming demon and had to eitehr give up one good captain or give up 2 territories so I could send a shitty captain. (sent S&M chick, hard to clear only 300 troops)
Apparently that is what is supposed to be hard about the Miko territory is their stupid bonus otherwise I could of had the place in 1 turn rather than 3.

How does scaling work, exactly, and how do you effectively counter it in higher-difficulty games?
Playing with footsoldiers only lets you match the enemy's troop counts, but it takes forever to get enough gold to do so.
