I can be a very cruel person myself but there have been people which I could never hurt or turn vindictive against them so some vague reason. About the Nao discussion, her situation is not similar to Techi's at all, we had a Mirei center and a Katoshi center when she was still on the group, and I think Miku would've been center for tteka even if Nao wasn't on a break. Her being center with a comeback seems a right choice to do.

It's not even the girls who are the main problem in this case. Having so many members is counteproductive. They don't need to recruit so many of them, a smaller idol group in members is preferable as it's only some of the girls who are carrying it anyway and others are pretty much their back up dancers.
People can't focus on so many members to begin with but Nogi management are still on the AKB model. I personally always loved Kiichan since the early days but I think she was wasted on Nogi. You have to wonder some times whether the girl is really boring or the management simply has a boner for particular ones and makes them sucessful in wotas eyes due to the push. Can't disagree that many member are needless filler and indeed boring though especially 4ki.
Also the thing with Nogi is the group becoming more "artificial" on how the members present themselves and the brand carries this rule to the music and presentation itself. The new single is just straight up boring. I think that when Asuka graduates Nogi is most likely finished but I don't like making such predictions. What's your impression of 5ki so far by the way?

Yeah I agree, that's a consequence on having too many members. It's not like things have been different before, but there were lot of really strong members, so despite the filler members (moslty from 2ki), it looked like a strong group. Now with current Nogi it's more problematic.
About 5ki, at first I thought it was really strong, but looking at them now they don't look that great even if there's some strong ones (I like and think are strong Nagi and Satsuki), but I don't think this gen is strong enough to prevent the hige decline this group is facing.
