News
-The Winter 2022 Event, "Announcement! Operation Sho III Alert", is underway and scheduled to end on April 1 at 11:00JST. It is a medium-scale event, with the MO having 3 maps and the EO having 2 maps. The final map reward will be Ofuyu-san.
-Friendly Fleets have been implemented in the EOs.
-The new ships implemented in the Main Operation are Matsu-class Destroyer Ume (E-2 drop), Japanese Oiler Yamashio Maru (E-3 reward), Japanese destroyer Tamanami (E-4 drop), and Japanese destroyer Ofuyu-san (E-5 reward).
-The new equipment implemented is the Type 13 Air Radar Kai (Late Model), Type 3 Command Liaison Aircraft Kai, the Ki-96 land-based fighter (E-4 reward), and the Ki-102B land-based bomber (E-5 reward).
-The Spring 2022 Event will be based on Operation Ten-Gou in which the hotel's Kai-II will show its strength. Start saving bauxite.
-The December ranking rewards have been distributed. No new equipment was implemented.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to critical DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures will remain until further notice. EN EO now bypasses the block. Another possible workaround is using https://github.com/Tibowl/KCCacheProxy
-The following ships will receive another remodel at some point in the future:

Ise/Hyuuga powercrept them hard and the game has evolved beyond their strength. Fusou/Yamashiro should at least get carrier fighters to make them at least a little relevant again.

If there was a time to buff them, it would be with the anime release. They could also try something sillier like another touch mechanic, but I'm not a fan of relying on those.
