This reminds me, once like five years ago I did the Yakumo residence with not only Yukari, Ran and Chen, but also I made a man cave four levels under the earth to allocate Rinnosuke who also happened to have a getup in the mod.
I made his lair to be as spooky as possible, also he had to go through the bathroom to get anywhere in the house from his room below, so Yukari would sometimes be taking a shit at 3am then Rinnosuke would dart by on his pajamas to get food or whatever.

Sims 3 with all of it's expansions installed absolutely destroys with the sheer amount of content. Also it has the open world which is fun.
Unfortunately it runs pretty badly even on modern systems and the sims themselves are pretty ugly.
Sims 4 has a bunch of content packs that add nothing substantial to the game that are clearly meant to milk the buyer dry. But it has a better artstyle for what it's worth.
