Even as a fellow writer of atrocious fanfics in other genres, I don't think MGE works as a potential X-over universe.
Due to the /tg/er's legitimate complaints that 'no conflict means no drama', which is one of the key facets of MGE any possible x-over just becomes:

I'm certain you could do soulsborne considering the stuff like the covenant for Quelaag's sis, the Firekeepers, Priscilla, the Doll in BB, etc. It would be a lot softer but it's crossfic so expecting full canon adherence is crippling yourself.
Off the top of my head, mana does its thing and Quelaag's sis finds a hubby and create a positive feedback loop that causes her to regain her strength due to mana being more potent and curative than humanity (or something like that).
