Like I said, Yuuka is divisive, it's possibly the most important aspect of her character. Naturally someone who is more interesting, who has at least some idea of what she's doing, the world she lives in and the people she can interact with, will be able to choose her words with surprising precision. By effectively testing the people she comes into contact with, either by implicitly taunting them, confusing them, saying something outrageous, or telling them the exact thing they want to hear, she's setting up for reactions that she knows nearly everyone will give her. In that sense, yes, absolutely, when you're more "extreme" or "uncompromising" in your approach like she is, you will open up the gates to both more interesting interpretations (rarely), and to more extreme negative interpretations and an influx of nonsensical or fetishistic garbage. Other than this she suffers from the usual things any fictional animated character does in this day and age, anything in the shape of a woman can be "made use of" in more ways than most would be comfortable imagining. Do not think that I disagree on this point, in spite of my objections it is hard to say that I like nearly any interpretation or portrayal of her anywhere.
>It's important to be firm in your beliefs, but believing your interpretation of something that is naturally dubious to be 100% correct down to every last detail is just stupidity and arrogance.
This depends on what you refer to when you say 100%. I am naturally inclined to believe that my own interpretation is the best, as everyone usually is. Nonetheless, interpretation will ultimately be based on the individual subject, and I think it is fair for it to break free from the confines of canon when necessary. That is to say, canon is taken into consideration and integrated, while room is made for the workings of the imagination and similar mental faculties, you could call them. Being 100% right is of course not quite necessary in the grand scheme of things, and I am always open to any amendments, provided they are convincing.
>You are entirely right. I realized how ass-backwards I had the whole thing, so I dropped her. I only wish more people would do the same. She is not a character that anyone who wants an actually satisfying relationship should pursue, regardless of the fluffy shit that occasionally shows up in the pools, or might be inferred somewhere in the dialogue.
If you mean a romantic relationship or similar, that is a little more difficult with 2d. Entirely true as well, Yuuka and romance do not strike me as being a good match.
>Like most artists agree, her appeal is deviation and fetishism, which are not in my nature.
And you agree with them? Those trash eaters and flesh puppeteers? Deviation is the right word, provided you take its other meanings here.
Honestly, anon, if what you said here was true:
>...I am actively spreading as many ultimate sadistic creature memes about her as I can so that her remaining vanilla fans can get fed up of her and be liberated and finally find a 2d wife that doesn't have all this shitty baggage attached
Then I must wholeheartedly commend you for doing exactly what she would have wanted. Spreading such ideas guarantees that her reputation will never be in any danger, allowing her to continue leading a leisurely existence. An absolutely brilliant strategy. It does make one wonder though, is Yuuka herself behind these posts?
