It's more of a means to procrastinate. I find /jp/ to be boring as shit 95% of the time and just go to /g/ or *shiver* /a/ or /v/ instead while listening to music that I've heard 500+ times already.

Most of the time I just create a thread and refresh it for hours. I've made an art of out inciting responses around here after wasting 6 years of my life on 4chan, and 6 years before that on other forums.
