Decent story. The anime sort of ruined it for me, but there were a couple of surprises.

I actually liked the combat more, because the visual novel I'd already seen in anime form.

I remember people were talking about this and it lead to the Weeaboo Wall that gave us this shithole.

Dear god. First, if someone is playing it for ecchi they won't give two shits about the story. Second, the whole ascension to god thing was very over done in the early 2000's. Maybe you just don't remember?
