It is colder than a witch's tit here in New England, when is spring?

>> No.3845161

Man, winter hasn't even started yet. Grow a sack and buy a jacket.

I am already wearing a jacket. It is the jacket I wear when I go into the wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains and kill things. Fuck.

Yes. I am fucking as manly as you can be when you spend most of your day looking at loli erotica. I AM ALSO COLD.

I'd love to be stuck in a cold snowstorm with a loli. Using my jacket and body heat to keep her warm and then she'd hug me for being so nice and saving her. I crack a wry smile as I feel my lids growing heavy from my body growing weary from the cold but it's my duty to protect this girl so she'll grow up into a fine young woman.

Then I die from hypothermia.

God damn it's cold here. They're predicting it's going to snow tomorrow. We haven't had snow in about 20 years. Usually it's 80-90 degrees on Christmas, getting up to 100 one time.

Anything below 40? 30-40 isn't really that cold.

>> No.3845395

I can't stand the cold at all.
Anything below 60 too much for me, I much prefer a good 70-75F.
Everyone I know seems to have balls of steel or something though.
It'll get up to 60 and they'll all start bitching about it being too hot and opening windows, all the while I'm sitting there in a heavy leather jacket because I'm cold as fuck.

How the hell do you people do it?

>> No.3845400

>>3845387
30-40 isn't that cold?! Ice starts forming at 30. Ice! Goddamn I have to wear like 4-5 layers of clothing just to ensure that I don't freeze when it gets that cold.

>>3845400
Yea, ice starts forming at around 30, so why would above that, not even freezing temperature, be cold? As long as you have a half decent jacket I don't really see the problem.

I'm in New England, I'm naked with all the windows and I'm not cold.

>> No.3845418

When you order a cold drink, do you send it back to the counter if it's not frozen? The same logic applies: just because it isn't freezing outside, doesn't mean it's not bloody cold.

>>3845408
I don't think so. Now excuse me while I go turn on an overhead heat lamp and fall asleep.

>> No.3845419

I'm willing to accept that some people are born and raised in different parts of the world, and are made to move to other places. Arguing static temperatures to be cold or not is bullshit because the same people who call Californians pussies for not taking negative 10 with a smile melt before it even hits 100.

New England, though? Now we have a static place, and a climate to compare it to. If you're getting cold before there's 6 inches of ice on the ground, you don't belong here.

What kind of logic is that? It's not like you're outside in shorts and a t-shirt. Or at least I hope not. I wear a jacket, a shirt, and jeans, and I'm fine and toasty in freezing temperature. Dress for the season.

I live 5 miles inland from the beach, and in southern California.

We don't have seasons.I wish we did though, the coldest it'll get here is like 50 and everyone will be flipping out.

The thing about cold weather here is that even though it is 'warm' to most people, you guys also have clothes MADE for that kind of weather and are more used to it. I don't know anyone but pilots or travellers who own any 'real' fall/winter clothes that live here. That helps a lot in making "warm" temps be "cold" for us.

Plus yeah, we have a year round warm/hot climate, so it's not surprising that "high" temperatures seem really low to us.
