Haven't played any VNs for the last year, how are Cross Channel, Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo and Sengoku Rance? Anything else interesting get released that I didn't notice?

Cross Channel and Sharin no Kuni are both amazing and definitely in the top of my favorite VNs.
Sengoku Rance isn't a VN but a game, a damn addictive game.

Still pretty early in Sharin No Kuni but I'm enjoying it so far.

I couldn't get myself to finish Cross Channel, I just disliked the characters. Especially the main, he was such a faggot.

Also personally I haven't played Rance but a lot of people have told me its very addicting. It's a tactics rpg/vn so it'll take a long time to play but its fun, if you don't have a problem with rape.

Initially Cross channel chars seem to suck... however its kinda intentional, I must say, hang on on the beginning and the time you spent hating the main character will come back x100 as the time you will praise him.
