One day you woke up and found yourself in the human village in Gensokyo. Soon you learnt that everything you know from playing the Touhou games and from reading the canon backstories are all fairly accurate accounts of what have happened. (With most of the incidents solved more or less by group efforts rather than just by Reimu herself.)
The inhabitants don't seem to have any idea that people from the outside has been studying about their world.
Knowing what you know, what would you do in this strange new, yet familiar world?

Personally, I don't see why we have to act like retarded Asspie fags over CANON VS. FANON.

Why not have everything operating within the same sphere?

Perhaps Sakuya REALLY does have breasts, but she pads them out to look more like Eirin.

Perhaps Cirno isn't dumb as a brick, but she's not very good at riddles.

Perhaps Reimu only goes into FIRST STAGE BATTLEMODO and goes on GENOCIDAL RAMPAGES when someone pisses her off - the rest of the time she's a kind, sweet shrine maiden like ZUN envisioned.

Perhaps Yuuka really is a gentle, pleasant lady when she's not eviscerating people for walking in her flower field.

The only reason I get bent out of shape over it is because I don't want people trolling each other into the stratosphere over something I wrote/drew/programmed. I soon realized that doujin artists give the finger to Canon on a regular basis, so it's inconsequential, and no longer a major concern of mine.
