What are some good visual novels that have come out in the last few years and are translated to English. Commercial or Doujin. The last few really good ones I read were Ever 17 and Chaos Head. I recently got laid off so I got a lot of free time right now. Catching up on anime and stuff. Watching Welcome to the NHK reminded me of a genre I needed to check up on.

Thanks for the site. But which ones are good?

I heard that Saya no Uta was good but that subject matter is too close to home. I will check out the others thanks.

So you too have sheltered a Lovecraftian horror in your home?

Basically the things I see in the images for that game are things I see in my head already. Had the same problem with Chaos Head when picking the negative reactions. Would rather not play through something like that again.

So far on my list I have Cross Channel and Sengoku Rance.
