Use continue if you are on your first play through, you are bound to get 0 points anyway.

On 2nd play through or so, get high lvl commanders.
Natori, Okita, Suzume, Ran, Kenshin, Senhime and so are around lvl 40 and above. Saved Rance for the last.

Gather some remotely decent units with a respectable level cap (low 40s are usually decent enough with Kenshin/Rance etc. doing retarded damage when they reach their higher levels) and do dungeons. Also free prisoners 5 at a time so you get the +level item. This will increase your commanders levels which greatly help in commander fights.

I just managed to beat the king of all eyeballs (by being lucky, he started the battle with an eye drop, I managed to get 2 heavy attacks on him in a row). Alas I only managed to capture noir and the holyshitwhyisthereahugemouthonthebackofherheadthatshitisfreakingmeout! and the cyclops. Didn't really activately tried to capture omachi (which I kinda regret now)

I don't think I can pick the muramasa family bonus on my next playthrough now?
