Yeah, it's one of the config options, accessed in roughly the same way you speed up battle animations. I uninstalled, so I can't give you anything more thorough than that, though.

The question this time is the source of much of my rage: The Shimazu Brothers. I'm doing this on Kill Monkey, and those bastards were quick to up and wage war.

I need to know what to do in the event the fuckers absorb Mouri. Right now I already got Kiku, and I took over the first territory of Takuga.
So questions are, even if Shimazu absorbs Mouri, will I be able to lift the curse? After which, will I be able to capture the remaining Mouri members (provided I'm hella lucky)?

I'm pretty sure his name is Lance, I just type Rance because that's the name people know him as.

ランス could read either way since there's no distinction between R and L sounds in Japanese, but even though the official way to translate this consonant is with an R, it's typically more of an L sound (which is why Japanese have a really hard time with those letters in English; they're practically inverted). Even in the Rance anime it sounds more like "Lance".

This isn't really an issue that the Japanese have. They know him as ランス, say "Lans", and the fact that his name is spelled with an R in English rarely comes up.

It's easier to clear Kiku on new game+ since starting with Mouri convinces the game you've succeeded in the all-out war option (which isn't that hard either).

But yeah, uncursed +living Motonari is needed for the house bonus to be unlocked.

Should I start the first game again now that I understand better the game, should I try to go back some days before (I heard you have to send kentarou or something like that after he became a demon, but i didn't find this event), or should I try to finish it nevertheless ?

After 10turns+ or so, you will automatically conquer the whole land except for South Africa or some adjacent country. Then send Kentarou for his event at the place where Ryouma first appear.

You have three options for this
a) Send Soun against him, you probably didnt get him in your first game
b) Send Demon Kentarou which will result in a Stalemate and Kentarou getting 3 levels
c) Sacrifice one your captains

If you do c) you will get a new ??? event that will let you prepare for Gigais attack. If you do that you can challenge him to combat without transforming

She's a horribly mediocre unit and once you've seen all of her events (which you'll mostly see in your first playthrough) she just becomes a character who sits at the bottom of your commander list doing nothing, mainly just used as a permit holder.

"stuck with" you say? I'm sure you won't be "stuck with" anyone - but Kenshin would be a good choice to return. There aren't a lot more characters in True Route that I'd feel you're likely to meet again. Kenshin, maybe Suzume, and who knows? What difference does it make? Once you're on the Ran route you don't really have to do much anyway apart from 2 dungeons and a few easy fights against ogres. You can stall the dungeons for as long as you want too so you can concentrate on getting affection up on your units for an easy 150 points or so at the end or just farm for character bonuses.

I actually like Chun Chun shuriken, if you get her another action point, she can do it twice and assassinate. It's good since it completely ignores guard, and you can sometimes take down 2 units with one attack. Obviously nothing on the likes of Omachi, but I think she's solid with some affection bonuses spent on attack and a decent troop level for taking out weak units that are usually protected by foot soldiers.

Fellas, I succeeded in surviving the Takeda blitz. Yay for me! But now comes the annoying part of capturing them all. I've turned back on the stupid bar to see who they join...But I'm not seeing anything. Does it take a few turns before they start joining other countries?

As reference, I'm at war with Houjou, but they only have one territory left, as well as One-Eye (I got the bonus so they'll be quick and easy. Plus, I doubt they hire humans).
Remaining countries are Useugi, Asai-Asakura, Iga, and Tenshi Sect.

This worked for me, even though they had 2 territories. let them conquer back some shit because you can always save before an attack and if a commander shows up they will always be there again if you reload and attack. Houjou hired all 3 of them in my game.

She is a ninja that starts with assassinate 2 and you can't fire her plus she can't die. She is the perfect assassination only ninja you can get. I always have her with like 300 troops among 1300+ main troops for that assassinate because it's very useful.

He was probably referring to the end of the Ran route where Rance, Sill, Suzume and Ran all go back to the continent together. It's a shame that, going by the epilogue, all of the characters remained whilst Rance went back on his own to find a way to get rid of the ice. At least we can expect him to appear in JAPAN again since that's where Sill currently is.
